NEXTEL RIPOFF THEY DO NOT CARE FOR THE CONSUMER AT ALL! Reston Virginia

I have been a customer of Nextel since I cancelled my Bell Atlantic phone in 1998. And I am a delivery driver for a large company, and I have delivered to your building in Reston for years. I have nothing but trouble, and it seems to get worse than better, why? I have spent thousands of thousands of dollars on phones and I myself has had as many as 5 phones on my bill alone to the tune of $1000.00 plus a month.

I have the unlimited plan, and i use to pay around $100.00 per month and now its up to $200.00. I know that you are in the business to make money, most all are. I also subscribe for the fan scan, telenav, and often alost of the extras dont work. My signal is horribile, and gets worse. I average about 10+ drop calls per day. I called in to "customer service" a few weeks ago, they asked me what I think they should do about it, that it was not thier problem, what? I called again, and again I got a job ticket # and was told a technician would call me back, they never did, I was also told I would recieve a credit, never did. I go to alot of NASCAR events and well Nextel is running the show, and I would amost be better off to take 2 coffee cans, and some yarn and comunicate that way.

I talk on average over 3000 minutes per month + 2-way, and I tend to go through phones alot, they just wear out, and I seem to never get a break to replace my equipment to continue to pay out tons of money for service, that is just not ther, and then to boot you get no where by calling customer service, you have a product that is almost exclusive, you know it, and you just dont care about me, the little gut that has been there almost since day 1.

I have 3 phones on my account now, all 3 are in very bad condition, and need to be replaced soon. I have horribile service in and around where I live, and work. I pay x-tra for services that I can seem to use, because of your poor service.I am employeed by a large company, yes larger than Nextel, way larger. My company affliation is supposed to qualify me for extra savings, 1.discount on entire monthly service invoice, I never get it. 2.discounts on equipment & accessories 3.special price plans, with no activation or contract.

I would like some good ol fashioned CUSTOMER SERVICE, I am the customer, and without people like me, there would be no Nextel.I would appreciate a replay back from Nextel if you think you can crawl out of your shell and deal with a customer, satisfy thier service needs, and retain them a s a customer for years to come.

I have talked with a consultant at a diffrent phone service company, and I have been very satisfied with what they are willing to offer to switch me over, and that I would get the level of service that I deserve. If I am woth the effortr this is your last chance to retain this customer otehrwise I am gone, and alot of my friends, family, and contacts feel the same, and woudl be willing to follow me for peace of mind..

I shut off my nextel today, and the reason why is actually a good story.Their customer service is pathetic! The only phone company i know who actually has hours for customer service. Hey, im paying you for a service, how about you provide it and help me at my convience_NOT YOURS! Maybe if you were paying me then i whouldnt mind calling you in the middle of my busy afternoon.
I had a plan at about $59 i think, i went a bit over my minits and my bill came to about $339. I mentioned this to a friend of mine and he mentioned that his provider took all the overage charges away when that happened to him because his whole fammily has been with them for over 5 years. Now after recieving this bill i changed my plan to the $200 unlimited everything account drainer thing (LOL). Then a few days later i called back, i was on the phone with several diffrent people for over an hour, i climed as high up as i chould go, apparently the head supervisors in the service centers arent allowed to talk to customers on the phone and i guess there was nobody else i chould call (as i make the j*****f motion lol). Now, reguardless of the fact that this company was going to get $2400+ out of me over the next year, they chouldnt eat $200 to help me out. When you renew a contract you have to pay a month in advance too, my next bill was going to be near $500, i chouldnt afford that-flat out. They chouldnt even use my new plan for the previous month and make it $200 for me (and almost any company will do this under these circumstances im sure) aparently there was absolutly nothing i chould do. So i went out and picked up a new phone with a new company, I figured i chould eat the $200 termination fee-its worth getting the customer service i should be getting. And besides why should i pay a company money when all they do is piss me off? Then AFTER i got my new phone with the much better company i called nextel to cancel and guess what. Suddenly they can take away ALL the overage charges and make my bill and even $60 for me NO PROB! I cancelled it anyway, they wont have a monopoly over the direct connect function for much longer. I honestly cant wait to sit back and watch em sink! They say "screw the customer" and i say "screw the company". I cant wait to watch em crumble when other companies release 2 way. Ill be the first one looking at their new rate plans just so i can laugh.
