Complaint Review: National Processing Center

National Processing Center Deceptive flier received in mail. Makes you believe it's from a government office. Nowhere on the flier does it indicate that it's not affiliated with the government, but the rip the sides off envelope did. I guess this is there way of saying we did indicate that we aren't government. Us humans take the envelope and throw it away. I'm glad I am smart enough to look at things closely. Recieved official loooking envelope.  The kind you fold here and tear.  Inside was an official looking documentation with numbers printed in the top left corner.  The header says 2017 Benefit Update for... and then right below my legal name.

The document then goes on indicating that the Social Security Administration has made funds available for final expense planning.  It goes on about how I should know all about my benefits available to me, this Special Program will pay 100% of all funeral expenses the government doesn't cover up to $15,000 (Tax Free).

They ask for my age, my spouses age, and my phone number.  This is clearly a scam, and for elderly individuals this would sound like a blessing.
