National Home Employment Services was a referral to me from the website Monster.com. My initial contact was to submit an application to the email address of which I did. Three days later, I received a response with the link to www.nhes.net the home website for National Home Employment Services of Roseville, IL.

Subsequently, I completed an online application and was told that there was a $29.95 processing fee to defray processing costs (this should have made me suspicious since you should NEVER pay for a job). Eager to get my application submitted, I completed their online bank draft information wherein I was giving them permission to draft my bank account for the fee. After completing the application process, I received an ERROR message that there was a problem in the submission of my applicaition. I immediately received a follow-up email from services@nhes.net letting me know they were experiencing problems with their mail servers and that I should wait 5 business days to allow them to return an email of explanation to me. The email I received initially was signed by Beverly Carson, Mgr, Human Resources with NHES.

I immediately became suspicious and started surfing the web for any information on the company NHES. I discovered here at the Rip-off Report website that this company had been reported numerous times in the past of conducting fraudulent activity.

I went to my bank when it opened at 9am on the folowing morning and stopped payment on the check I had submitted to NHES online and filed paperwork to never allow them to draft my bank account. It cost me $18 but I have learned my lesson. NEVER PAY FOR A JOB. Even a telecommuting job!

Thank you, ripoffreport.com for assisting me in what might have been a very costly mistake.
