Complaint Review: MWI Connections

I was charged $89 om my credit card a few months ago. I had no idea what MWI Connections was. I tried calling them for a couple days but only got a recording. I finally got through to a live person and she was real nice and said she would take the charges off my credit card account. I was pretty rude to her and she just acted dumb about why I was being charged in the first place.

Well, I finally found out why they charged my credit card after almost 2 months. Was sorting through old unopened junk mail sent to my house and there was this envelope from Connections!

They gave me a free membership for 30 days! But it was my responsibility to call them before the 30 days were over to cancel my membership. This letter was from their membership director, Marc Nelson.

This was your run of the mill junk mail that most people toss in the trash can without reading. I can only imagine how many people have been ripped-off by this company because they don't pay close attention to their c.c. transactions each month.

Someone in government ought to take these swindlers and make an example so that others will think twice before trying similar scams!
