Midas muffler located nationwide advertises lifetime warranty on their mufflers. Unfortunetly when your muffler goes bad,they will not honor the warranty! I own a 1995 cadillac seville with only 100,000 miles on it.I purchased it 3 years ago when it had 90,000 miles on it.The car was in excellant condition .It only needed new mufflers.This car has 2 mufflers. I was living in Troy,ny & that is where I purchased my lifetime mufflers.Now 3 years later,I am living 250 miles away in western new york state.Both of my mufflers need to be replaced.I have contacted several midas dealers in my area,& was told they won't honor my warranty! The last person I spoke with said my car was too old,& they no longer stock that muffler.When asking about the warranty,he hung up on me! 

Midas muffler is guilty of false advertising in all of their nationwide ads! I feel they should be investigated by the federal trade commission & some type of class action lawsuit should be filed against them on a federal level! I doubt that I am the only victum of their fraudulent advertising! I feel my complaint is legitimate & I feel midas mufflers owes me 2 new mufflers ,or give me the cash value so I can go some place else.
