Complaint Review: Michael Twentyfive

 MMT Property Management, owned by Michael Twentyfive, took over management of five properties I own in Rochester NY on October 15th 2018. Since that time he has always deposited less to my account than he has collected in rent.  At this point, due to a shortage in deposits, he has collected $10,000 more than he has sent me.

For example he would collect $5,000 in rent, charge $500 in maintenance, and send me a $2,000 deposit which is short by $2,500 and this has compunded over months.  In addition, he has failed to collect (or report the collection of) more than $20,000 in rent.  If you add that up there is more than $30,000 that I am short. Every time I would reach out (He only communicates through email) he would tell me he talked to the tenant that day, or DSS was late but it was coming, or that he would send a deposit in two days... and then weeks would go by. 

Sometimes he sent a small deposit but never for the amount collected.  Mike also agreed to pay my county taxes which were due more than four months ago and has said they were taken care of multiple times, however they have still not been paid and have incurred late fees.  As a side note, according to a different rip-off report online, Michael Twentyfive, has stolen money from a client in the past while operating under a different business name.

 All issues listed in my report have been resolved in a timely and amicable manner. All owed amounts have been paid to me in full. Although I had moved onto another management company I sometimes still work with Michael to include his willingness to help me resolve property issues on a volunteer basis. I wish him and his other clients prosperous business and the best of luck.
