I had to dig around and summon up the courage to
ask the judge for permission to say something. And at
my arraignment, when the opportunity came, I asked the
same question someone else should've asked far earlier:
"I was attacked by three people. Where are THEY?"
The question got me nowhere, of course, except
into jail from November 20 to December 11. My initial
bond was set at $16,000, apparently fairly normal for a
charge of aggravated assault, one of simple assault. By
the time of the trial, though, the prosecutor, one Ron
Harris, had raised that to two class six felonies, both
aggravated assault. Early in the day on the first of
December, East Mesa Justice Court reduced my bond to
$1600. From the afternoon of the first of December to
about eight p.m. on the eleventh of December, though, I
was incarcerated at Pod 4-B, Towers Jail, waiting for
that bond reduction to show up in the appropriate
computer system.
March fourth, 1998, what I had known all along
became a matter of public knowledge. The jury's verdict
was "not guilty"... Angry at his humiliating defeat,
knowing the jury had actually laughed openly at two of
his witnesses' obvious lies, the County Attorney
furiously polled the jury, to affirm their decision.
The prosecutor, one Ron Harris, used, knowingly,
two perjurers, one of them a police officer named
Lines(11942), hid a second police officer, fudged around to make sure that the best evidence I had couldn't be used.
A third witness was so drunk when the "crime" happened
that it, to be kind, colored his testimony. One or
two others exaggerated, and the testimony of one young
lady was so absolutely irrelevant, I quickly realized
she was there simply because she loathed me, and the
prosecutor wanted to add some seasoning to his broth of
hatred. "Sean" said I picked up "Daniel" and tossed him
into a tree some 90+ feet distant. Daniel is about six
feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds. "Sean" also
"mislocated" all the action, proving before the
jury--which the prosecutor supposedly "missed"--that he
had not even been near the incident at all.
The jury laughed aloud at "Sean" and at Lines, the police officer who claimed there were no marks of any kind on me. The jail photo clearly showed two rather profound wounds, one of which later festered and became infected.
But never, ever let reality and truth interfere with a case being melded by Mesa P.D. and a County Prosecutor...oh,hell no, that would mess everything up!

criminal (I mean Mesa P.D. and County Prosecutors) will
go to trump up a case, even when they KNOW they do not
even have the correct human being.
Unfortunately for the prosecutor's case, one of
the "crime victims"--one who had told me weeks before
the trial that he had been pushed into signing a
statement, and had never had any interest in pursuing
the case--not only told the truth, but made it fairly
clear that one "witness"--let's call him "Sean"--was
nowhere near the action, and had seen nothing.
I'd never been to jail before. And like
virtually everyone else I know, I had made no plans for
such a contingency. But if you live anywhere in
Maricopa County, especially in Mesa, you need to know:
the same thing can happen to you, in a heartbeat, based
on nothing but someone's hatred and the vicious,
eating-machine nature of the "justice" system.
One problem with the "lock 'em up and throw away
the key" mentality, the way it's executed here in
Maricopa County, and especially in Mesa, is that none of
the authorities really give a d**n who's guilty or even
who's telling the truth. From the police to the
prosecutors, numbers--quotas is the more correct
term--and empire building are all that count. In my
case, efforts to slant the case began immediately, when
the police simply denied that evidence of the attack on
me existed.
No less than three independent, uninvolved
witnesses saw the "crime scene team" from Mesa P.D.
obscure, hide, carry off, and otherwise illegally
disrupt the hard evidence of that attack. Indeed,
part of the reason suspects are held in jail as long as
they are is to interfere with their abilities to build
defenses, later, in court. Thus , Mesa P.D. is directly
guilty of obstruction of justice, and of falsifying
evidence as well...a map in particular.
Indeed, they attempted to contend, in court, in
concert with the prosecutor, that I, at the ripe, old
age of 51, having never before been involved in anything
like this, simply decided to go outside and punch out a
couple of kids. This, of course, was insane, and a lie,
from the beginning, and they all knew it; but making
the case called for compromises, virtually every one of
which the jury saw through.
REALITY VERSUS FABRICATION
As you read the description of what actually
happened, keep reminding yourself: This can happen to
you. And even if it doesn't, you wind up paying for
similar calumnies every day, in your tax assessments.
I'm a freelance firearms writer. This is a
tenuous, slapdash existence, with erratic income,
late checks, and so on. I try to
find regular employment, constantly, and it was my
intention on November 20th to have all eleven articles I
had finished, ready to go, pictures captioned and
collated, within the week, the better to begin in
earnest a serious job search targeted for the Christmas
season, figuring if nothing else came up, I might at
least locate a retail position for those few weeks.
I have to live in a fairly spacious apartment to
do my photo work, but I can't afford high rents.
Indeed, for the last several years, it's been difficult
to even reliably pay low rent. The place where I resided
then and do now, as I write this, 2030 East Broadway
Road, in Mesa, had deteriorated badly from mid-1996 or
so until November of 1997. Arizona Apartment Investors,
the management firm, was selling the property, and
apparently the on-premises staff had been ordered to
spend no money and allow anybody--just plain anybody--to
occupy the apartments.
For over a year, bands of from three to as many as
thirty juveniles roamed the property, crushing ground
lights, vandalizing tenant's property, especially cars
and most particularly, mine, smashing shopping carts
into other kids and into each other, cursing, swearing,
and ripping up fences and all manner of electrical
installations.
Having moved here from another building where
there were as many as four drug dealers, doing high
volume work right out in the open, and having
discovered that getting Mesa P.D. interested is almost
impossible, I took note of the respectable general
security and ground lighting here before I moved in, and
for several years, it was very peaceful.
I took an interest in keeping the ground lights
working, and immediately discovered they, indeed,
functioned like crime repellent.
And for the most part, even when the neighborhood
kids began to act like a full-time wrecking crew
comprised of dangerous psychopaths, I intervened only
enough to make it possible to do my work.
Wall-writing vandals, however, began to threaten
my life and property, and one began a concerted
effort to vandalize my property, apparently for her
amusement.
How strange this was can perhaps best be
illustrated by the dominant activity of one of the
juveniles--let's call her "Whitney"--who not only made a
serious study of how to do physical damage to my car,
but repeatedly spat all over it, in fact inviting her
friends and family and even adults, to do likewise.
This activity was witnessed numerous times, though on
11/20, I did not know she was the one behind this
unsanitary behavior.
Early on the evening of 11/20/'97, while getting
the aforementioned articles ready to go, cooking dinner,
and getting ready for my upcoming job search, I took out
some trash and noticed that the electrical box I'd
earlier seen "Sean" vandalizing was torn open and
various sheet metal scraps, wire, and foil stuffed into
the breaker areas. Concerned with an obvious fire
hazard, I grabbed a couple of tools and returned to that
box to at least eliminate the immediate threat of
conflagration.
I immediately contacted the building
manager--let's call him "Howard"--to inform him that the
box had to be secured. He, in turn, told me that the
building had changed hands, and that he was no longer
the manager, and therefore not responsible. So I
advised him that I'd do what I could.
Rushed but not looking forward to having a major
fire, I decided at that point it would be wise to
further secure the door on that box, and I went into my
tool box, at the very rear of my apartment, to locate a
few lengths of lightweight chain and a small padlock to
fabricate an expedient solution, until the morning, when
my thought was, I could perhaps execute a better repair.
Little did I know, I would be in jail in less than
five hours, and for twenty-one days.
Going out my front door, and before my second foot
hit the ground, the door pulled shut and locked behind
me, I was struck about " in front of my eye, on the
right bridge of my nose, with something very hard at
rather high velocity. There was another immediate
stinging sensation on my neck. Something like pepper or
wet sand struck my face, ears, and right arm. I later
found out some excrement, probably from a small animal,
had also been in the mix.
My vision blurred, I looked to my right, towards
where the missiles had been launched, and was quite sure
I saw three people.
"Now I'm going to die!" That was the thought.
And there was nowhere to go, really. Fight or flight!
I'm about 5'8". One of my assailants was much
taller, at least six feet. Another was at least my
height. Two of them ran west. The third--"Sean"--went
someplace else. And I followed the two big ones,
determined to find out who it was, what had happened,
why.
I don't run much any more, and they gained on me
rapidly. The bigger of the two disappeared suddenly,
turning south. The one immediately in front of me
began to go down, after a run of perhaps twelve to
fifteen yards, tripping or falling. Moving full
speed, I was virtually certain to drive my knees into
the back of the kid's head.
Not gracefully, but quickly, I leapfrogged over
the juvenile, winding up to the west. Turning, I saw it
was "Whitney", and I pointed my index finger at her and
said, "Stay there!" She ran off immediately, crying.
Later, it would start to bother me that perhaps I'd
kicked her in the head as I flew over her, or that
maybe I'd stuck my finger in her eye. And at the trial,
the prosecutor tried to make this concern into some kind
of evidence of guilt. But right now, I had other fish
to fry. And pressing ones, at that.
"Hey!" It was the big guy, and he was moving
toward me.
I shot out my left arm, grabbing his neck firmly,
and turned my body as close to perpendicular to his
thrust line as I could.
I recognized him once I was that close.
"Daniel, just relax and talk to me and nobody'll
get hurt."
I knew I was giving up a reach advantage, and if
he punched me or tried to, I wanted to make sure he
couldn't get to my face or vital organs. I kept my
right hand poised, but a paper tiger, and though I for a
brief instant wanted to punch him, he relaxed quickly
and so did I.
"This harassment has to stop! It's been going on
for over a year, and it's costing me money and time!
You can't be doing this!"
"It wasn't me."
In a firm and only a little loud voice, I tried
to tell him about the danger inherent in fooling with
the electrical system, of getting up on the roof, of
attacking people and their property, and I strongly
suggested he relay this information to his friends and
associates. By this time, we were having a sort of
conversation.
I stormed off, not realizing I had two wounds, one
of them open. The latter one would become infected
later. There were some tiny scratches on my left leg,
too, probably from the twisted-up piece of hanger wire I
found near my door. Inside, I inspected my clothing,
and found the excrement smears on my jeans, which I
removed and rinsed out and cleaned, and I swept off
some of the mess left by my front door.
It was half an hour or more before the police
arrived. I tried to inquire about Whitney, to no avail.
Suddenly, there seemed to be people everywhere, one of
them a wandering drunk who was talking endlessly about
"hitting kids" and other s****.>
lady I never did identify came past while this man,
"Sean's" father, was reciting his litany of nonsense,
and accused me of more-or-less everything short of
murder, and even said I smelled like a brewery.
I was startled, not having had a drink for some weeks.
"That's me", "Sean's" father responded.
Let's call him "William Smith". Eventually, it
turned out, the putrid little rat b*****d who made up
the story had immediately rushed home, yelling to his
father that someone was "beating up kids"--namely,
me--and though neither "Sean" nor the drunken sot who
claimed to be his daddy had seen anything, the words
started boiling around. Apparently unable to get a
doper to actually hallucinate some evidence, the weasel
prosecutor instead decided to proffer up this diced
salad of perjured trash and half-assed drunken
recollection. You, by the way, pay this piece of
garbage, and way too much, no matter what it makes.
Two police showed up fairly shortly thereafter, an
Officer Lines and an Officer Jepson. I was primarily
interviewed by and gave my statement to Jepson, who,
later, would mysteriously disappear from any and all
paperwork. He was also mysteriously "out of town for
two weeks" during the trial. It was he to whom I first
showed the oddments of projectiles, including the hanger
wire, and eventually the excrement, though Lines later
would perjure himself and claim he had seen neither.
Not only was this vital evidence therefore suppressed
unlawfully at the scene, out of the view of the court
and judicial authority, but from the very onset, all
investigation was very carefully edited, exaggerated,
and coaxed and fabricated, to feed into what the local
authorities apparently felt would be an easy and, most
of all, prestigious double felony conviction. This
insanity continued to and through the trial, and is all
now a matter of record.
What actually happened? It seems one 14-year-old
girl--let's call her "Sara"--either planned the entire
episode beforehand or cruelly exploited it afterwards,
or both.
I had no way of knowing, but a year before this
episode, she had repeatedly stated, in front of several
sets of witnesses, that she would "get me" as revenge
for my having admonished one of her friends for
intentionally destroying a ground lighting fixture, very
nearly electrocuting himself in the process.
In the interim, I have been ticketed for driving
while intoxicated, by police waiting for me at my
parking space, and having passed the blood and blow
tests, the Mesa prosecution apparatus is persisting.
The notorious officers Marrical (12187) and the repeat
felon perjurer Cantrell (10730) faked and lied about
evidence and situations so much that their evidence was
all thrown out, and the charges dropped.
And my car was broken into, searched, and instead of the
customary "withdrawal" of merchandise, something was
"deposited"...and disposed of within seconds of when I
found it. March 12th, the license plate off my car
disappeared. The Mesa P.D. helicopter seems to spend
an unseemly amount of time near these premises.
Coincidences? Sure! Maybe pigs fly at night, too,
when we cannot see them.
There was a very serious attempt to enter my
apartment while I was in jail. There have been at least
two, probably three since. Two girls were seen entering
my back yard enclosure by a witness. Mesa P.D. never
even interviewed the witness. About half a case of
expensive synthetic motor oil was stolen. There was no
investigation at all, though I did report the episode.
I have been "questioned" by police at least fifteen
times since 11 December, and most of my friends are
convinced I've been followed.
"Sean", who, it is now firmly established, told
Mesa P.D. that I had struck Whitney, that I had
"pushed her into a tree"...and that
I had, with my extended left arm, simply flicked
"Daniel" to the ground, was lying, and was heavily
encouraged by Officer Lines. Later, on the stand, he
claimed the action took place in front of the pool, an
error of some 15-20 yards. Just as "Daniel" and I had
surmised, he simply made up a good story,
apparently with the complicity and cooperation of
"Sara", who also saw nothing. There is no tree within
20 feet of where he had the action happening, and even
the one near where things actually happened is a good
seven feet away. The one he claimed I "threw" Daniel
into, the "BIG" one, is some thirty yards distant.
But none of these facts inhibited this
steamroller.
It seemed apparent to me from the beginning, had I
fabricated the attack, I'd have had a name to put on
the imaginary perpetrator. But I still have only a
couple of "maybe" theories on who actually did what I
now refer to as the "kiddy hit".
Without an opportunity to discuss the case after
the verdict with the jury, I can only guess at what
point they figured out what actually happened. There
was some trickery involved. I had to make sure my jail
picture was introduced, to show the welt and the wound,
and I knew the prosecutor would have to call for it. I
was told by an experienced inmate, early on, "If there's
anything that can help you or exonerate you in your jail
picture, your jail picture will disappear", and since I
already knew the police were fully prepared to lie and
fabricate, I simply shaved. This was taking a chance.
Just as everyone looks like a convicted felon in a
driver's license photo, so everyone looks like Charlie
Manson in jail photos. But as ratty as my hair and beard
looked after sixteen hours, and knowing full well that
the printer would crank up the contrast to make me look
worse and severely demented, I forged ahead and scraped
my face, completely.
By the way, the same "contrast enhancement" and
additive red is used by Mesa P.D. on their "injury"
photos, so as to make a pimple look like a bullet wound.
Plainly and simply put, this--plus doctoring evidence
every step of the way--is downright fraud. And you're
paying for it, by the way, every single day, just as you
paid for my 21 days in jail, and will pay for the very
large lawsuit now being prepared.
Hopefully, these actions will result in the
disbarment of a prosecutor, even his prosecution and
subsequent imprisonment, for little things like
subornation of perjury, ethical and other misconduct,
etc., etc. , the censure and unemployment of at least
one police officer. But don't bet on it. Mesa is a
community which, politely put, is not especially high on
self-examination or, for that matter, justice. The
scams roll on, like huge hogwash s****.>

And Maricopa County, in particular, seems to be
in the businesses of incarceration and filling jails.
A great many people for whose room and board you pay
are incarcerated on charges which are greatly
exaggerated or downright false, and the general policy
is to keep them in as long as possible, at whatever
level best feeds the system. System building, aka:
empire building, and the establishment of Rick Romley's
vicious police state, which is where you actually live,
is what my tiny episode was really all about. Just a
little piece of a very large and expensive puzzle.
I was an easy victim, and there was no interest
at any time in what had happened to me. I never was
able to raise enough money to hire a private attorney.
In fact, the crushing financial impact of this whole
episode destroyed any stability I might have built while
this mess was going on. The kids committed a crime,
albeit a small one I'd have simply forgotten about, but
there was no way that tiny neighborhood matter could be
inflated into a double hit to satisfy the quota. So
two were manufactured out of air, the police thus
contributing directly to an avalanche of juvenile crime
on this property.
All the people who testified against me have been
evicted or have moved, except the one we call "Whitney",
who never lived here. She was banned from this property
long ago due to vicious criminal activity and vandalism.
Just yesterday, spotting my car, the sweet, darling
child felt compelled to run into the street to deliver
to me the single-digit obscene gesture she frequently
employs. She's about twelve, talks like a drunken
Marine, and looks to be at least in her late teens.
(In late '98, "Whitney" moved, apparently to Tempe)
It is unlikely any of the perjurers will ever be
prosecuted. That doesn't fit the bogus agenda of the
County Prosecutor's Office and his storm troopers.
I do have sufficient hard evidence to have Harris
disbarred, Lines, other officers named Cantrell and
Marrical censured, at least, for perjury and worse. But
that won't happen here, not in cozy little Mesa. Hell,
no! That would be JUSTICE, and THAT Mesa cannot abide.
At least her city government cannot. A little light
in certain corners and the dense little cadre often
called the "Mormon Mafia" would have to scurry away and
hide; their actions (SEE MESA CORRUPTION REPORT WEBSITE)
are absolutely indefensible, in all dimensions, and
equally criminal.
And make no mistake.
It can happen to you. If you are vulnerable, it
will happen to you, simply because this is what Mesa
authorities do, lacking the courage to confront any of
the thousands of crack dealers and meth houses in the
community. And make no mistake: THEY WILL LIE EVERY
STEP OF THE WAY. They hold their power that way.
The County Sheriff did finally pay off on the
false imprisonment suit. But the real criminals, in
and out of the local LDS crime apparatus, will probably
never even have to answer for their offenses. This cost
the taxpayers of this city and county MANY THOUSANDS OF
DOLLARS...

March 23rd, 2022, the first female head prosecutor in the long and twisted criminal and fraudulent history of the Maricopa County Attorney's Office resigned under pressure.
See ABC 15's stories about Allister Adel. Whether the gutless manipulative monsters who have corrupted that organization for 150 years or so were involved direct, or how much, we are not privy. There was drinking and abrupt behavior involved, but nothing like the sleazy lies from RON HARRIS so many of us experienced over the years. Nor was their anything like the level of illegal, dishonest, and unethical conduct that anyone can actually identify or specify.

The Maricopa County Prosecutor's Office has NOT changed, nor really has Mesa P.D., even now that corrupt old criminal, Charles Luster, has finally died. You can look up his demise on eastvalley.com. The old grafting criminal LDS "Mormon Mafia" organized and tormenting whacko expired October 24th, 2019, at the age of 93.
No one has disputed, confronted, or refuted a word, syllable, or even a LETTER of the original posting.
Some diversions, plenty of lies, but since 1997, if anything, the grip of the same old style of sleazy fascist coward and lying criminal crackpot conspiracy has tightened in the East Valley.
The facts are the facts. "Whataboutism", the ancient technique of lunatic propagandists, doesn't prove much except the moral and mental despair of those spewing the sick diversion, like "Steve", whose veracity doesn't equal that of one of Mesa's corrupt cops.
The prosecutor's office, after a particuarly INSANE and ugly murder by a MORMON officer named Phillip M. Brailsord, was so pushed, finally, to fake up a ridiculously flawed case against that coward, and pretend to prosecute him. They sent in a fool with instructions to LOSE, and thus another Mormon criminal walked away, this one REWARDED for his capital crime by being re-employed by the same deranged department in a "civilian" capacity, and never even asked to give up his firearms.

City Manager Chris Brady said Tuesday he would consider reviewing the discipline handed out to more than 500 employees after a months-long probe into e-mail and Internet policy abuse uncovered pornography, racial slurs and racy love letters.
Brady, who has been criticized in recent weeks for the city's aggressive handling of the investigation, said he would re-evaluate "lower-end" punishments over e-mails that contained "sophomoric behavior," but would hold fast on the discipline given out for e-mails including pornography.
"At the end of the day, we are trying to change a culture and correct a problem that had been out there for years," said Brady, who compared pornographic images stored on employees' computers to a copy of Playboy hiding under a chair. "Porn is one of the most addictive activities. It really destroys people and families." advertisement
Meanwhile, the punishment phase for the Police Department could take weeks to complete because many of its 282 disciplined employees plan to file grievances, saying the investigation has been mismanaged and officers are entitled to due process.
Some police union members have said they are so mad over the handling of the investigation they are threatening to vote May 16 against the property tax, which would bail Mesa out of a $25 million budget shortfall.
Mesa's two police unions represent a substantial voting block, and have come out in support of the tax.
The tension sets the stage for a behind-the-scenes showdown between police brass and the unions, which are accustomed to handling disciplinary matters in-house, and Brady, who already approved a citywide discipline process for the e-mail investigation. Brady, Interim Police Chief G.T. Fowler and police union representatives were set to meet late Tuesday on the e-mail content.
In the Fire Department, where about 50 employees are planning grievances, the investigation is being viewed by some as a witch hunt because the discipline was so excessive, said Bryan Jeffries, president of United Mesa Fire Fighters Association.
"My personal opinion is the discipline on non-sexually related issues may be too severe," said Councilman Mike Whalen, who asked Brady for a citywide review of disciplinary action.
On Friday, police announced that 148 employees were slated for suspensions and 134 faced written reprimands. The five most serious offenders faced a 30-day suspension, and 22 face a week suspension.
Mesa Police Association Vice President Fabian Cota said he would welcome a re-evaluation where the union could be involved in the disciplinary process and wants an amicable settlement.
"I have been here 10 years and the process has never been put aside like that," said Cota, whose group has met with Fowler and Brady several times to resolve the issue. "It would have worked out to a much better solution if you included employees in the process from the beginning."
Whalen, a former assistant police chief, said he is concerned about how much time the discipline process will take in the Police Department, with morale among officers already at an all-time low because of the city's dire fiscal crisis.
"I don't know the public really cares how much discipline we hand out; they want to be assured employees are putting in a full day's work," Whalen said.
Bryan Soller, president of the Mesa Fraternal Order of Police, said the city should have dealt with the "worst of the worst," educated minor offenders and released a new "no tolerance" policy that could be monitored.
He said many of the e-mails were jokes and were sent by people who have never been disciplined before.
"The people when they sent them didn't think it was anything that would get them in trouble," Soller said.
At City Hall, nearly 230 employees have already received disciplinary action for sending e-mails that contained jokes about Blacks, Hispanics and homosexuals, explicit sex acts and personal love letters.
Punishment ranged from 240-hour unpaid suspensions to written reprimands.
Under the city's old e-mail and computer use policies, drafted in 1996 and 2002, respectively, supervisors were not allowed to randomly monitor employee e-mails, making them harder to enforce.
However, both policies forbade employees from "transmitting, storing and/or viewing obscene or lewd materials" and "sending offensive, derogatory, harassing or bigoted messages." The policies were introduced to employees before they were hired, Brady said.
"It's not some secret policy we had," Brady said.
Last month, Mesa rolled out a tougher policy that all employees had to sign annually verifying they understood the new rules.
Although Brady has taken heat for his handling of the investigation, the probe of e-mail abuse began under his predecessor, Mike Hutchinson. It widened last fall, after an employee made a sexual harassment complaint.
Shortly after taking office in January, Brady met with top city officials, including the fire and police chiefs, to agree upon the type of discipline based on the severity of the e-mailed content.
"A lot of employees are really upset and think (Brady) is a headhunter," Soller said. "I think he is trying to do the right thing and the city went to the extreme."
Soller said the fact that city employees were already disciplined before the police investigation was finished makes it harder to resolve.

This is outragious and unfair. Brady takes the disciplinary procedures away from the police chief? Are you kidding? Do we not trust our Internal Affairs? After all they investigate shootings and so forth, but the police dept. chain of command is not adequate to take care of this problem. Hmmm The punishment does not fit the crime. These e-mails were sent to people that were not offended by them and if the reciever were offended then deal with those people. Let's think about how our police dept has been monitored before by an outside agency and deemed a model agency for others to go by throughout the U.S. and is accredited nationally . This could have been handled with a quick letter to stop the e-mails and there would not have been any problems. Now however, the city is facing lawsuits, police officers leaving this city where they started their careers, and placed a blanket of non-trust throuout our community...Nice job so far there Mr. Brady. This was a personnel matter, synonomous with discipline in an employee annual review. Quite frankly, it should have been handled as such. These e-mails were sent in an environment set by precedent, whereby employees genuinely believed that they were forwarding information strictly earmarked for close friends and co-workers to view.
Management, although just as guilty,(I've got proof, and will use it later in my lawsuit) stuck together found the process, tools, and "scapegoats" necessary to save their own skin.
Unfortunately, the big fallacy here is that the public perceives these "abusers" to be closet "perverts" who were not doing their jobs and wasting time on the public dime.
One "click" of the mouse takes 2 seconds. Some of these so-called "perverts" forwarded just 1 e-mail over a 12 month period, and I guarantee that most of these "problem" employees are some of the most dedicated public servants you could ever meet.
I can only hope that the lawsuits generated from this "investigation" will cost the City tenfold what their "savings" were in publicly humiliating these employees. This could have been handled so much more professionally. A simple warning that a new policy was in place and any future infractions would be handled by strict disciplinary action would have stopped e-mail "abuse" in its tracks.
Unfortunately, now if you discipline the P.D. differently than the rest of the employees, more lawsuits will be pending. Mmmmm....makes you wonder how much Sherriff Brady's publicity stunt is going to cost the City in terms of investigative hours logged and in litigation.
Mr. Ethical is great at pointing fingers because he got caught red- handed in Salt Lake. The word from the most of the employees is that they can't stand working for the guy. He stabbed them in the back and he's delusional if he thinks productivity will go up with his ingenius new policies.

were spending a lot of time watching him,
which made the atmosphere very tense.
That little fat girl, Sara, was his sister,
I think, the one who had the pet weasel.
She was using stuff even before I left,
so was the other girl, the one you call
Whitney... I think maybe the cops
were just helping them get rid of you,
sounds like something they would do.
I heard after that Homer Cotton just
disappeared. Maybe the Feds got him,
or maybe those creep dealers who watched
him, or maybe he just died.

to, "Watch your back, you're dealing
with vindictive people."
I did contact several other groups,
though, including some that have
ongoing battles with the "authorities"
in Mesa, and who are actively working
to keep citizens from visiting the town
and doing business there because of my
run-in and various others that their
members have had in the last fifteen
or so years. They, however, pretty
much said the same thing... But they're
seeing to it that the crime figures
and the police corruption facts get
out to those who might otherwise go to
that area for the winter.
And I've been accumulating other, similar
tales from Mesa, and especially, documenting
them. But it isn't going to change,
unless citizens get nasty with the officals
at the very top, and I have no patience
with that level of criminal corruption.
I think it's cute that some of the
yokels think this is "paranoia" when
it's all heavily documented, with photos
and transcripts and hard, cold facts.
That's why Mesa is what is is: nobody
there will confront the main criminals,
the city government and the corrupt
and deranged prosecutor's office. Oh,
Rick Romley is gone, too. Big deal.
Rest assured, the locals have found
a replacement just as much a liar,
just as deep in dishonesty and coverups,

Apparently, Steve, in addition to not being
able to add up the absurd amounts charged
for rent in Mesa's various filth-holes, including
the upgraded ones where the crack and meth
dealers live better, you also cannot read. I
left that place before ever filing this report,
but like the rest of the blight in that accursed
sewer, the chemical business is more-or-less
EVERYWHERE in Mesa, as are the lying, demented
slugs who constitute YOUR police department.
Had you been able to read words with more than
four letters, you'd have noted that in at least
seven places. I don't live in Mesa AT ALL
any more, got tired of dealing with liars,
illiterates, and the scumbuckets in city
government.

have witnesses, and would love to present
them in court. The things that cut me, by
the way, proved to be "throwing stars"...I
think they are called "shinobi". The cops--and

wall behind me, where they stuck, and hid or
destroyed, or (in their language of convenience)
"misplaced" them. I didn't know this until
one of the witnesses to the "cleanup" contacted
ME unbidden almost a year after the episode.
The gentleman above who notes seeing crime

between Mesa and Gilbert is precisely correct.
And the cops ignore it. Why, the chickenshits
could get HURT dealing with criminals, and
who knows, one of the "perpetrators" might
be a friendly neighbor of the "correct"

Some of my neighbors had already tried
video cameras, and the management company
in the last reasonably decent building in
the area did, too, for a while. They were
all stolen or vandalized in a few days.
Result of the police "investigation"???
Nothing, even when they were presented
with recorded evidence.
It wouldn't make any difference in Mesa,
anyway. Anything which conflicts with
the most convenient police lies and
exaggerations simply "disappears"...
and the only reason it didn't work in
my case in their favor is because I
wouldn't budge, and the jury figured

no dispute that the cops in Mesa suck, (they do) but maybe if you didnt live in the biggest crackhouse apartment complex in mesa, anywhere from the 2200-3200 block of broadway you might not have as many problems with the law. I've lived in Mesa for 30+ years and have seen that area overrun with crack and meth heads and drug dealing wetbacks that any logical thinking person would maybe...MOVE? There are other areas (and other towns) that are not the biggest drug area in the East Valley like B'way/Gilbert Rd is. After reading your paranoid ramblings I have to conclude that you must like it there.dont use cheap rent as an excuse, there are low cost apts. all over Mesa that arent nearly as bad as that area. Of course, a quieter area wouldnt provide nearly the drama and convenience for you and as a "writer" that must be important for you professionally. Wait, I hear another Mormon flying a unidentified black helicopter. Hide!!

While the things you describe do work well in a normal environment, things in Mormonville, uh, I mean Mesa, don't work that way. I would never have believed it until I moved here and saw it for myself.
You see, I live only 1 mile from the Mesa/Gilbert border. I have to drive through Mesa every day on the way to work. I see enough crime to keep a fully staffed police force running full time. But, the crime runs unchecked in the City of Mesa.
I for one will be happy when I move back to Florida next year, and put as much distance between myself and this rotting cesspool of a city.

You could have avoided all this drama by simply installing a camera and recording the goings on. The evidence would have been irrefutable, the cops would have been used only as errand boys to pick up the guilty, and you wouldn't have had any trouble at all. I started using video back around 1990, before it was popular, and have since caused many a dirtbag to go to jail. Car thieves, drug dealers, assaults, burglars, they all had to plead guilty because they didn't want the jury to see the video. I almost wish I lived where you do, I would have a ball.

Anant Kumar Tripati is an East Indian, a racial Minority who is a Citizen of the Fiji Islands.
Tripati owned Legal Research Associates (LRA) in Beverly Hills, California.
LRA provided litigation support to in excess of 7,500 lawyers.
LRA had 60 lawyer and paralegals on contract.
Tripati developed and owned ARVITA, an Artificial Human Intelligence Software (AHIS) worth at least $40,000,000 which Dean Chatfield stole on June 24, 1992. Donald Conrad and Terry Blake had accompanied Dean Chatfield and were present at the time Chatfield stole the AHIS.
Tripati had $4,900,000 in assets.
Tripati earned $1,500,000 a year in gross income.
LRA worked on controversial issues.
Tripati obtained in excess of 150,000 documents about Maricopa County targeting racial minorities for law enforcement activities, not investigating complaints made by the general public regarding employee misconduct and paying people hush money. These documents had signatures of Richard Romley as well as some of these showed approval by Betsey Bayless, Ed King, Tom Rawles, Don Stapley, and Mary Rose Wilcox.

Tripati recorded all conversations he had with people and made recordings of his conversations with Archuleta.
On March 27 of 1992, Archuleta in a tape-recorded call advised Tripati that Mckay, Chatfield, Mesh, Blake, and Archuleta had a meeting in which they agreed to send people to search LRA, close business, and forfeit Tripati's assets.
Romley approved this.
On 6/24/92, without probable cause or without consent, Chatfield, Conrad, Blake searched LRA, removed property from LRA and brought these properties to Arizona.
No California Judge had allowed Chatfield, Conrad, Blake to take property. They contacted a Richard Goldston who went to a California Judge and on July1, l992 lied to the California Judge to obtain an order, allowing the property to be brought to Arizona.
Without probable cause Ronald Harris file forfeiture which was later dismissed.
Tripati saw Chatfield take ARVITA (AHIS) disc , other computer files and 150,000 pieces of evidence.
One goal of the search and seizure was to destroy the very evidence on the on going corruptions in Maricopa County, take away other properties and shut-down Tripati's business.
Chatfield arrested Tripati June 24, 1992 and took him in his custody.
Chatfield, Conrad, Blake, Mesh, Harris, Romley, McKay, Tolino and Grant lied to the Governor. They did not tell the governor that Chatfield had made the arrest. This is because Tripati could not be called a fugitive.

WHAT THE EVIDENCE WILL SHOW
Anant Kumar Tripati is an East Indian, a racial Minority who is a Citizen of the Fiji Islands.
Tripati owned Legal Research Associates (LRA) in Beverly Hills, California.
LRA provided litigation support to in excess of 7,500 lawyers.
LRA had 60 lawyer and paralegals on contract.
Tripati developed and owned ARVITA, an Artificial Human Intelligence Software (AHIS) worth at least $40,000,000 which Dean Chatfield stole on June 24, 1992. Donald Conrad and Terry Blake had accompanied Dean Chatfield and were present at the time Chatfield stole the AHIS.
Tripati had $4,900,000 in assets.
Tripati earned $1,500,000 a year in gross income.
LRA worked on controversial issues.
Tripati obtained in excess of 150,000 documents about Maricopa County targeting racial minorities for law enforcement activities, not investigating complaints made by the general public regarding employee misconduct and paying people hush money. These documents had signatures of Richard Romley as well as some of these showed approval by Betsey Bayless, Ed King, Tom Rawles, Don Stapley, and Mary Rose Wilcox.
Tripati was preparing to challenge these practices.
Archuleta, McKay, Chatfield, Mesh and Romley knew of these potential challenges.
The amount in dispute exclusive of interest and costs exceeds $150,000,000
Gunn Mckay, Dean Chatfield, Terry Blake, Donald E. Conrad, Richard Mesh, Richard Romley, Ronald Harris, Vincent Tolino, Gerald Grant, Teresa Archuleta, Ed King, Betsey Bayless, Tom Rawles, Don Stapley, Mary Rose Wilcox, of Maricopa County are all citizens of the State of Arizona who acted under "Color" of State Law and pursuant to the authority of Maricopa County.
Tripati recorded all conversations he had with people and made recordings of his conversations with Archuleta.
On March 27 of 1992, Archuleta in a tape-recorded call advised Tripati that Mckay, Chatfield, Mesh, Blake, and Archuleta had a meeting in which they agreed to send people to search LRA, close business, and forfeit Tripati's assets.
Romley approved this.
On 6/24/92, without probable cause or without consent, Chatfield, Conrad, Blake searched LRA, removed property from LRA and brought these properties to Arizona.
No California Judge had allowed Chatfield, Conrad, Blake to take property. They contacted a Richard Goldston who went to a California Judge and on July1, l992 lied to the California Judge to obtain an order, allowing the property to be brought to Arizona.
Without probable cause Ronald Harris file forfeiture which was later dismissed.
Tripati saw Chatfield take ARVITA (AHIS) disc , other computer files and 150,000 pieces of evidence.
One goal of the search and seizure was to destroy the very evidence on the on going corruptions in Maricopa County, take away other properties and shut-down Tripati's business.
Chatfield arrested Tripati June 24, 1992 and took him in his custody.
Chatfield, Conrad, Blake, Mesh, Harris, Romley, McKay, Tolino and Grant lied to the Governor. They did not tell the governor that Chatfield had made the arrest. This is because Tripati could not be called a fugitive.
Tripati was held for 115 days before arraignment.
According to Mckay, "sand n****r" Tripati must be stopped.
All this was done by defendants because Tripati is of East-Indian, a racial minority who was in the process of exposing misconducts and corruptions within the Maricopa County Attorney's Office.
Knowing that the practices were wrong, Grant, Romley, Mckay, Tolino, Harris had Chatfield, Blake and Conrad engage in these wrong-doings.
Romley could have stopped this by establishing policies. Of course he failed to do.
It is often these named defendant's policy to retaliate against those who challenge their policies and practices.
Defendants have the policy of treating racial minorities harsher than the Whites.
Since Tripati posed a threat to their practices and policies established by Romley, he was punished and locked up for 52 1/2 years.
Romley has authorized and approved a code of silence in Maricopa County which mandates every employee cover-up for other employees. This code of silence was enforced in this case.

I had occasion to contact Mayor Keno Hawker about the Mesa "Police Department", and basically advised him, in writing and via mail, that they were nothing, more nor less, than liars and thieves.
He sent me a little scrap of paper, suggesting that "Mesa P.D. takes citizen complaints very seriously."
Bullshit, Mayor Hawker. Mesa P.D. takes WHITEWASHES very seriously, and moves very quickly to hide facts.
Citizens who complain often disappear, and worse.
Even token resistance or contempt--about the only thing a sane person can offer rubbish of this n**i lunatic sort--results in very negative GUNFIRE, and even this fifth-rate nincompoops and crackpots sooner or later can hit SOMETHING or SOMEONE.
There is no punishment quite appropriate for the sort of rot I saw from this agency. Killing people casually and lying for a living really don't have acknowledged penalties.

I was attacked by three people. I ran two down
and identified them. At least one of the weapons
was some kind of piece of metal, which cut me rather
badly.
Lately, Mesa P.D. shot a 15-year-old, Mario
Madrigal, who very decidedly did NOT attack
them, for "disobeying orders" while holding a
small knife.
He died.
There was NO actual attack, except by the
Mesa officers.
Some comparisons are ridiculous.
This is one of those.
Some public entities are ridiculous.
Mesa P.D. and the city and county prosecutors
who foist their garbage against decent
citizens are ridiculous.
Dangerous felons?

Actually, more like the Markley and Brown cases.
Isn't it odd that it says in the Constitution of the United States that suspects are "innocent until proven guilty", and in this stinking filthy slophole, you are not even innocent AFTER you have proven it in three or four different ways.
The fact is, legal reform here is probably going to be violent. In my arrest, I was able to prove CONCLUSIVELY I could not possibly have been the person they were looking for. I was not even in THE STATE AT THE TIME!!!! Result?

Took two years' misery to get it sorted out.

I have made a sort of study of rot and corruption. Ancient Rome, the Byzantine Empire, the Ottoman Turks, Chicago in the 20's, Bulgaria, Tammany Hall in New York... But I have seen NOTHING like the filth, rot, malfeasance, cowardice, and general scumbag activity I see in the putrid charade which calls itself Mesa city government.
"Growth" they hold up as some kind of shining goal... But their math skills are lousy. The community is getting poorer, mainly due to their corruption and criminality and the filth they attract to their rotten city. These lowlife morons are generating greater deficits, yet building their insane temple of bogus art downtown... This shortfall these pisswads mean to make up by stealing more land and taxing it to death, even in other counties.
This is a ridiculous town, led by jerks who have no ethics and no positive principles at all!
I was foolish enough to vote for Keno Hawker, thinking there might be constructive change. Another total waste of time!!! This City Manager and the court of lowlifes who surround him have poisoned the community (and Luster and Hutchinson, I am convinced, are the same damned person, wearing a mask!!!) to the point where it cannot be morally salvaged.
I have been continually embarrassed even to be in this community, and the "police department" and scumbags like Ron Harris, the perjuring, fradulent rat who tried to railroad me, predominate the joke this city calls its "justice" system.
You see, Mesa has had no actual property tax since about 1947, and makes up for revenue shortfall by raping every working citizen who stumbles into their filthy web. License fees, kickbacks (some legal, mostly not), traffic fines (many of them fake or exaggerated), every single service, is outrageously priced. And slugwad dunderblitzes like Lines and Marrical and Cantrell on the Police Department, and the ENTIRE prosecutor's office, at both the city and county level, not to mention the moron in charge of the County Sheriff's office, make this laughing stock sewer even more silly. I am tired of a city run by cowards, nincompoops, sleazebags, and criminals.
For these and many other reasons, I leave Mesa June 20th. Fascinatingly, as true and pure a case of obstruction of justice, perjury, false swearing, etc., etc., as mine was, the

(1. Harris introduced as witnesses half a dozen or so of the hardest-core criminals in that entire area, most of them juveniles, thus establishing this rotbag's erstwhile concept: The more criminals one can have present LIES at a trial, the better the n**i scumbag's case will be. Therefore, if twelve, say, people beat you senseless, those bastards--like the filth this criminal ratbastard introduced as is "witnesses"--they may thus swear they were ALL YOUR victims, and you should therefore be convicted...if you are ALIVE, that is.
(2. Harris and the filthy, corrupt criminal "police officer" Charles T. Lines apparently were told by the juvenile perpetrators of the crime against me (which
these lowlifes did not find attractive enough
to pursue) that I "spied on them" by looking out
my front window, and this psychodeviant piece of
dung actually conjured up the audacity to ask me
about it on the stand. I ALMOST exploded in the
dirtwad's s****.> computer was in the front of my apartment...
I WORKED THERE... And, silly me, disruptions loud enough to make the walls shake caught my attention. We have thus a new principle in the law lexicon of these goose-stepping fleabag pukes: If someone is screaming bloody murder,
starting a fire, or strangling someone within two feet of your front door, and you investigate, why, then, under the "RON HARRIS SCUMBAG PRINCIPLE", you are a "busybody" and therefore a "criminal". I heard things outside my door daily, and I found out TO A CERTAINTY they were part of the general plan to entangle me in this mess. Harris knew this long before the trial, and so did Lines, and if called upon to do so, I will prove it. These liars obstructed justice EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!!!
(3. Harris concealed the acting building manager from the day of the crime against me, concealed a
second police officer, and much, much more. Lines
may or may not have been involved in the removal
of exculpatory physical evidence and the altering
of the scene of the crime against me, but Mesa
P.D. did doctor, carry off, and obscure evidence,
and I suspect interfered to obscure my bail bond
reduction, so as to keep me from participating in my own defense. New principle in law, according to Harris: Hide exculpatory or mitigating evidence, or character material on the perpetrators, and with only tiny bits of luck, ANYONE can be convicted. And the more is hidden, the better!!!
(4. If I ever encounter either of these criminal
slugs and they try to speak to me, I shall spit
right in their faces. Mesa is AWASH in "public
servants" of this LOW ilk, who are nothing but
predators and thieves. These men belong in
prison, FOREVER... New principle in law, by
the "Harris & Lines rules"... "THE MORE THE
TRUTH IS MANIPULATED AND CORRUPTED, THE
BETTER OF MESA'S 'city fathers' WILL FEEL

(5. I keep hoping some of the corrupt scum who run this city and the prosecutor's offices, both

of corruption SUE ME for slander or libel, so I

This will happen, eventually, but not as long as scum like these are even allowed to participate in the public trough. And the serious pressure will have to come from the federal government; the gutless, spineless filthy who run this city and county, and surely not the state of Arizona, is ever going to move in a clean direction. They have no experience, they would not know where or how to begin, even if they did some one moment of honest impulse.
I myself know of at least another dozen such cases. These pukebag filth, you know, manage to keep MOST of their lies out of the carefully controlled local press, another mutual backslapping incestuous relationship these scum enjoy. When you are ripped off by the department itself, you have only 180 days to sue. However, individual rats like Lines and Harris, for example, should be prosecuted and imprisoned for perjury, false swearing, subborning to perjury, filing false police reports, malicious prosecution, etc., etc., and CRIMINALLY, when one can find a prosecutor with some GUTS...then again, based on this Harris filth, there may not be such a thing. Amazing! Obviously, one can stay too long in one venue,
and apparently, I have.
January 5th to the 7th, I learned that SOMEONE had acquired
income tax returns unlawfully, and was attempting to use
the information against me, albeit without full knowledge
of some of the underpinning information.
I have been offered drugs (with which I have NOTHING to do)
out of a clear blue sky by people on the street.
Friday night, in my apartment complex, a "gentleman"
came to my door with a very expensive car radio to sell
"really cheap"... Mine seems to have been the only
apartment he "visited"....
Things like this have been happening for about four and
a half years now, commencing with several bogus traffic
stops based on fraud. I shrugged it all off as "ghetto
miscellany" and "coincidence"... But now I have had to
inform the IRS that my income tax data has been purloined
my someone, and I suspect I know precisely who.
My bank account has been accessed illegally but nothing stolen or altered... Not YET anyway.
Had it not been for the clear and overwhelming evidence
of the tax data floating around, and the formal notice
from the IRS that my return was "lost", I might still be
listening to that little voice which says "you are being
paranoid..."
At the root of it, this is a matter of freedom of
expression.
Whether from this forum or elsewhere, someone has likewise

After well over four years, a Mesa
man, KNOWINGLY PROSECUTED IN ERROR
BY MESA POLICE AND THE COUNTY
PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE, finally
received some small amount
of justice.
After years of police and city
lies, cover stories, smoke screens,
evasions, and downright criminally
corrupt conduct, Aaron Shane
Markley was awarded only $500,000.
The jury took only an hour and ten minutes
to return the findings, and to clearly find
gross negligence against ELIZABETH HORN, the
detective who targeted the 31-year-old victim
of Mesa Police incompetence and greed.
Larry Debus, the plaintiff's attorney,
called it a case of "mistaken identity".
Most importantly, the jury identified
serious flaws in police procedures. Markley
said it wasn't a mistake which could be easily
dismissed.
The City's Attorney, Catherine Bowman,
not surprisingly, was "unavailable for
comment", but suspicions linger that the
city's bogus police and prosecution apparatus
will try some kind of appeal or end run to
avoid paying OR facing their continual and
chronic errors and corruption.
The City had argued that there was no basis
for the claim because the arrest was "based on
a valid warrant". FOR THE RECORD: WITH THE
CORRUPT COPS, JUDGES, AND PROSECUTORS IN THIS
FIFTH-RATE COMMUNITY, IT IS EASIER TO GET A
"VALID" WARRANT THAN TO FIND A TOILET!!!
Markley, misidentified as a drug dealer
due to erroneous testimony from Horn, based
on an undercover drug buy April 6th, 1998,
was viciously and aggressively pursued for
over a year, when in fact the actual
dealer's name was supposedly "MARKEY" and
the department KNEW he had left town in '98,
and persisted ANYWAY.
Markley did not even find out he had
been indicted until January of 2000. He
turned himself in to try to settle the
matter.
Horn ultimate HAD to admit she never
ONCE checked Markley's utility or other
records, or even attempted to determine
if he had lived at the address where the
"buy" was consummated.
The prosecutors and police did not
move for dismissal. When the errors
finally were rubbed in their noses in
August of 2000, the courts finally
dismissed.
Debus said Markley went through
eight months of "hell", providing
visually monitored urine samples,
one of which erroneously came up "dirty"
and the local "law enforcement" idiots
attempted to have him jailed. They
even threatened him with the loss of his
children's custody.
Question: When do we start firing
and prosecuting cops and D.A.'s for
perjury and false reporting?
Question: At what level does a
so-called law enforcement agency
become so corrupt and demented that
it has to be decertified?
Question: How can an agency who
does this all the time retain any
credibility AT ALL?
The Brown case, a very similar action
in which a black prison guard did a great
deal of time in Arpaio's hell, despite
having solid proof he was totally
uninvolved in Mesa's FAKE and FRAUDULENT
case, also based on a name mixup, long
after the agencies were aware they had the
wrong man, is just one of an endless list
of police ripoffs in Mesa.

This is how Mesa works. There is no
probable cause standard. Cops very literally
get away with murder. None of them WALK
anywhere, they drive around--at tremendous
expense--and look for easy, safe "busts" to
"make their bones" with their bosses.
Any sign of resistance, any unusual
moves, any failure to understand, they shoot,
and they kill people simply because they know
there is no punishment for it.
They lie virtually whenever they open their
lips, and many have been disciplined for NOT lying radically enough to make cases in court.
They rely on ignorance and docility, because
the are afraid to approach real criminals, such
as the persons for whom they ACTUALLY work.
Their "Drug Unit" is particularly questionable.
Meantime, I see crimes on the street every
day about which nothing is done, and which, in fact, the police essentially hide to keep statistics on their "side".
Such polarization is more typical of Communist Romania or Bulgaria, or perhaps of the Byzantine Empire, than it ever should be of the modern United States.
Our "thin blue line" has a strong yellow streak, and we know where it leads. These people are in an entirely different category than the heroes of America's biggest city, who actually dealt with a genuine traumatic crisis.

A guy in Milwaukee was killed a few days ago by
kids in just about the circumstances you describe... an attack (in his case, with an egg, no metal or anything like that) right at his door by multiple juveniles, who beat him to death, then whined he should be prosecuted for "assaulting" them. This didn't fly because it wasn't in Mesa.
You did know, I am sure, at least one of the kids who lied was an LDS child? More likely, two.
This is criminal and inappropriate treatment of

I was on the jury in this case. We actually
caught several OTHER lies. The map was
especially rotten. Lines did it to make it
look like you chased the kids forever. But
it was so demented and fanciful, no one could
figure out where anything was. No marks? Your
jail picture looked like you'd been shot in the
face a couple of times. And then they tried
to suggest to us that you had done it yourself.
That prosecutor is a crook. And so is the cop.
When we sent our question out, the prosecutor tried to sneak in some new "evidence"... He is a rat.
Funny thing is, one of the other jurors still
pushed to convict. He basically said: EVEN THOUGH THE COP IS LYING AND NOTHING HAPPENED, YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG, SOMEWHERE. I guess he
just felt like convicting somebody that day. The
rest of us knew it was b.s., just about immediately.
That one little kid, he was lying so heavy,
he couldn't keep his lies straight, and we could all tell the prosecutor knew it. That's why we laughed.
If I ever sit on a jury again--and I hope I never do--I never want to see a fake pile of crap case like that. Talk about railroads!

This is all family stuff, a Mesa tradition.
It goes back to Deseret Vigilante days. As long as Lines and other unworthy rats are allowed to wear the uniform--itself a sort of oxymoron--then Mesa will be totally unable to control crime and rot. They will, however, at least the city government, their tools and automatons, find a way to financially exploit anyone and everyone they can without fear of harm to themselves.
This is how gutless cowards operate: in the dark, against decency.
It is what the vainglorious government of this city stands for: deceit, corruption, and dishonesty, most especially at the hallowed halls of justice. It is no accident that your prosecutor and the perjuring oficer were both LDS. Just consider yourself lucky there were not more people on that jury upon whom they had "the goods"...

The "primary election" is over, and issues have been
handily avoided and ignorantly displayed. The Mesa N.F.L.
Stadium, which the league had long since decided could never
be built in a community like this, whose criminal administration had already decided was merely a revenue source, will NEVER and can NEVER be built. It would be wiser, in that remote eventuality, to remove the franchise from play, than allow Mesa's cowardly, criminal, corrupt police and "City Manager's office" to raid more legitimate citizens for the purposes of money and scalp display.
The fact that Proposition 404 was still on the ballot illustrates the insane lengths to which the putrid scum in this city administration will go, in their hissy fit, pouting manner, to try to push things their way, even after more sane

This is the same, tired personnel and the same

It is a job-building & public relations program. Lately, they have announced any firearms would be confiscated, even from CWP holders, and the numbers run through the NCIS system, regardless of other legalities. This is illegal. Moreover, sooner or later, they are going to run afoul of B.A.T.F. and steal--that's what it is, by the way, is THEFT--the property of a licensed dealer. But the local pukebags will be unlikely to go to jail.
This particular cop has done this and similar things before. It is how his family makes a living. Create a bogus problem, for which a solution is already prepared. Best way to deal with them: leave Mesa. Second best way: call an attorney the moment a Mesa "police officer" says hello. This best way: lock yourself in your house and do not answer the phone or go anywhere.
The biggest fraud is that they pretend to be
"peace officers"... The only "peace" business they are in is getting a piece of the action. They are the REASON serious businesses won't even consider locating here.

Mainly, what I want to do is make productive contact with
an extremely nasty, aggressive attorney with no ties to the
local dirt wads. I have spoken to some of the locals, who have less courage than Mesa's trillions of cockroaches, and who are not a hell of a lot brighter, and seem to have even less ethics.
One expects to meet turds in a sewer, I suppose.
Don't worry. I have solid evidence. And I have already been attacked by these rotten, filthy scum to the point where I have nothing much left to lose. When I leave this hellhole of pestilence, the only thing I want to take some victory with me. And some of the local criminal establishment's money is the best floral arrangement I can imagine.

The jail experience is not supposed to make sense, nor does it have anything to do with anything except building the power base for the locals, and making them money, both directly and indirectly. The topside attitude of contempt for
inmates--the scumbags in the Mesa Police Department and the guards like to call them, erroneously, as befits the collection of lice which comprises yokel "law enforcement", "criminals"--is translated to the very most callous and vicious pro
forma maltreatment that can be imagined in a backwater state like Arizona, which likes to pretend it's part of a democracy. But make no mistake. The jails you
pay for will cause a genuine and hideous revolution of some sort, and probably quite soon.
Hopefully, the U.S. Department of Justice or someone outside this insane venue and its publicity-seeking storm troopers will do something before it becomes violent, but I doubt it; and so does everyone else who's studied the situation.
These are some curious and perhaps humorous notes on "the system"....
--As often as the guards use microphones, it would seem they might at least try to develop some talent or technique in their use. Or then, perhaps, they don't want to be understood. The words and sounds which emanate from the sound system
are totally unintelligible, worse even that what I used to think comprised the past masters of incoherent public announcement, whoever it is that makes those
strange and obscure pronunciations at airports around the country. When announcements were made, inmates would look at each other, shrug, asking, "What the hell did that mean?" Garribaldi summed this up with a paraphrase of a line
from an old ad: "I got a d**k in my mouth, and I can't get it out!"
--I wound up shackled to a fellow Mesa P.D. victim several times, because his "offense"--almost as imaginary as mine--took place on the same day, in the same venue. His name was "Tyndahl", and he identified himself as a "fallen" Mormon.
I thought he was stark, raving nuts, and most of what he said confirmed my suspicion. But one day, in one of the prisoner vans, going to East Mesa Justice court for one of the various formalities contrived, I think, to run prisoners
through transition as often as possible, he said a few things which might be profound or might be seditious or might just be idiotic fantasies: "Hey, Mormons aren't stupid, ya know. They're only fifteen to twenty per cent of the Mesa
population, but they're seventy per cent or more of the cops. They run this f**kin' town, and they run it because they all vote. Truth is, all they wanna do is get their crystal meth, f**k their daughters, sometimes their sons, and see us goddamned infidels and fallen Mormons get the s**t kicked out of us. And guess what? They're doin' it."
--One of the reasons jail detention is intended to be very long in Maricopa County, and especially in anything in which the criminals at Mesa P.D. are involved, is so that police can "re-arrange", modify, conceal, destroy, or manufacture "evidence" and keep defendants from working on their own defense, on
their own behalf. In my case, I was told just after the trial that the "arresting officer", the perjurer Lines, physically moved the twisted wire and excrement with which I was attacked, after the photo team left. Of course, he'd
already committed himself to a false police report by not mentioning it, and then committed further perjury by claiming it never existed. But he hasn't done any jail
time...not yet, he hasn't.
--It's possible the break-in executed on my car, during which something was "deposited", rather than the customary "withdrawal", the theft of my license
plate, the bogus DUI which other Mesa P.D. officers attempted (unsuccessfully, let me add) to make fly, are all coincidences, and that their was no conspiracy or covert action by Lines or other Mesa P.D. officers. It is also possible that
pigs fly at night, when we cannot see them. But I doubt both.
--Language is used somewhat differently in jail. Should you wind up "inside" by dictum of your local P.D., for example, do not use the term "punk"...in jail parlance, that's a man's "b***h"...the bottom end of a homosexual relationship.
--Jail politics is bizarre in all contexts. One guard finally began to accept my endless assertion that "some idiot" had lost my bond reduction, and called the computer people downtown, East Mesa Justice Court, and so on. Along with the
efforts of the only friend I had who knew much about the system, this got the correct data entered, some eleven days late, into the jail computers. I wanted
to thank him, once I got out, but knew that doing so "through the system"--which would be my ordinary procedure--could only get him in trouble with his superiors. So I had to pass the word to deliver some thanks through an inmate.
--On probation, in rehabilitation, in whatever context, anyone who deals with "the system" pays and pays and pays at every level. Even probation officer meetings have to be paid for. I had to give up my car to cover my bond. Walking many miles daily, I was stopped and questioned, frequently carrying
clearly identified grocery bags, heavy and sometimes melting, for the very obvious purpose of further harassment. This is how "law enforcement" works in Mesa, Arizona. Too cowardly and stupid to deal with criminals, Mesa P.D. wastes your tax dollars annoying honest citizens. That, after all, is what criminal scum does--waste time and money. Forty-five documented times. Last time, I asked what someone should've asked them, preferably over the barrel of a
shotgun, a very long time ago: "Don't you have anything to do at all?" I expected to be shot. Oddly, that particular cop said, "Yes, I do." And then he drove off.
--I was in one of the lockups, in transition or intake, when several "V.I.P." assault suspects came in, charged with, basically, the same thing I was. But they were basically in private quarters, and I am quite certain I saw guards
jockeying in and out with what appeared to be Pizza Hut pizzas. They weren't there long, and were superbly well treated. They were the druggies from some rock group, apparently called "Motley Crue", who had committed their
assault(s) in front of thousands of witnesses. They weren't "inside" very long. Maybe they were rich. Or maybe they were Mormons.
--I have spent ten months' time, as this is written, seeking a civil rights attorney willing to proceed for many millions of dollars, against Mesa P.D., the individual officer(s) involved, the Prosecutor's Office and the individual
prosecutor, and many others, for perjury, the subornation of perjury, criminal concealment of evidence, false arrest, and various other sorts of criminal misconduct, to include obstruction of justice, not the least of which is the malfeasance which, at the very beginning, is indicated when a man is attacked by multiple assailants and winds up going to jail. In Maricopa County, any two individuals can concoct any kind of a story against anyone, swear to it to a police officer, and if the person accused is not a high-ranking Mormon church member or rich and well-connected, the fiction will put him behind bars. No matter what. Not a single local lawyer
would touch the case. I now work 12-17 hours a day, trying to make up the enormous deficit which 100+ days of this madness imposed upon me, and I had to send mass-produced summaries of the case and the facts to lawyers, the ACLU, the US-DOJ, and others, in an attempt to see the real criminals in my case
prosecuted, defrocked, and hopefully, imprisoned forever. Trust me on this. I am not the only person to whom this has happened. There have to be hundreds of others, and if we get together, justice might happen. But not through the local
apparatus. I am now conducting a national search for the right attorney. I am, however, proceeding against Maricopa County, in the amount of $160,000, for false imprisonment(note: this was written in 1998, before the sheriff's office settled).
Mesa P.D. needs to have someone take one of the D.W.N.M.'s (Driving While Not Mormon) tickets and their selective prosecutions of those who annoy them, and get seriously ravaged by it in court. Then they have to be PURGED... And they need to have their criminal conduct rammed down their lying, criminal throats EVERY SINGLE DAY, in every forum possible.
This CANNOT go on, and replacing one of the city manager's flunkies with another in November of 2002 is only going to make this criminal conspiracy worse.

The monetary and financial agenda of Mesa city government is simple: make money for the entrenched cadre, and make sure its power base remains intact, NO MATTER HOW SMALL THE DWINDLING MORMON POPULATION MAY BECOME. Right now, it is 16% at the most, 10% at the least, depending upon whose information one trusts.
The way to break that stranglehold for the Lutherans, Methodists, Catholics, Baptists, Jews, Moslems and yes, FOR WHATEVER TINY MINORITY OF HONEST, SECULAR MORMONS WHO HAVE FELT THE STING OF THE LOCAL ESTABLISHMENT, is simple: Vote them out of elected office, and push for the impeachment and criminal investigation of the residue that remains afterwards.
The ordinary tools of reason DO NOT WORK. This is a criminal conspiracy. Exposure is the first component, revenue denial via boycott the second, but the ultimate solution is to VOTE against them.
If you can wind up incarcerated in this lunatic asylum simply for trying to check out perpetrators in a blatant assault where the actual criminals go free, ANYTHING CAN AND WILL HAPPEN. Sure, the trial result was "innocent of all charges"...but what does that mean???? Tainted freedom is retained until THE NEXT TIME a Mormon officer needs to find a bogus "bust" to keep himself safe and looking efficient. Or one is dropped into the meat grinder of unending revenge, and is arrested or at least questioned almost daily. Meantime, REAL crime goes on, unchecked and mostly uninvestigated.
They send S.W.A.T. teams to household incidents, don't even investigate your friendly, local methamphetamine factories and crack houses. There are only a couple of possible explanations:
(1. they profit from the business done there; (2. they do not care, since it affects only "the scum of society"...; (3. they are too stupid to find them, or even to follow up on citizen complaints. Or possibly: ALL OF THE ABOVE...
The city needs to be sued regularly, relentlessly, for every incident of "selective" law enforcement and grotesque imcompetence. Then, if we also VOTE, perhaps something positive will happen. Otherwise, the ghouls and parasites will continue to prosper. They can manufacture bogus cases until hell freezes over; until they regularly explode in their faces, that will remain their stock in trade.

In case no one noticed, the biggest industry in Mesa and, for that matter, all of Maricopa County is the incarceration setups and the mechanisms which nourish them. Both jurisdictions, but especially Mesa, have more "enforcers" on the street, per capita, and more citizens locked up than the runaway apparatus of the right-wingers in n**i Germany or the repressive socialists of the Soviet Union ever did, at any one time.
Make no mistake: the real agenda is not "law enforcement", it is money pumping. Someone arrested for a felony, even a minor one--notice I said "ARRESTED", not "CONVICTED"--provides fuel for the system, potentially for years to come. There is input at one end--police officers, paper shufflers, judges--and at the other end, the output--prison guards, deputies, parole and probation offices, "counseling" services, etc., etc., etc. No one involved in the system gives even the tip of a euphemistic hat to a suspect's constitution presumption of innocence. If one is arrested, even in a stupid case of mistaken identity, there are no probable cause or evidentiary hearings, and as a result, people TOTALLY INNOCENT frequently spend a few days to over a year locked up or under preposterous supervision, paying EVERY DAY to their oppressors. Those whose charges are merely ridiculous exaggerations generally have to spit up even more fuel for this eating machine.
The Brown and Markley cases are particularly blatant examples, in which prosecutors KNEW they had the wrong parties. While locked up myself, I ran into several more, including one gentleman with a very common, ethnically French name, from New England, who had been extradited from his home on drug charges, specifying a very particular sale of crack cocaine. He had been in for months, moved almost daily, run in and out for hearings and discussion, but never allowed to present his evidence. Trouble with the Mesa P.D. case? He had never before set foot in Arizona (until extradited), and had extremely persuasive evidence, including a time card from his employer, demonstrating that he was some 2400 miles away when the alleged "crime" took place. And the police report made the time conflict obvious, even adjusted for different time zones. Indeed, in order to do the crime for which he had already done substantial time, within a week of the correct time, he would have had to fly into and out of Arizona several times, report for work, etc., etc., etc., and to actually be in two places at once. He had his security check-in photo from the day of the "crime" and for days preceding and following. And the "authorities" from Arizona had presented NO evidence of his transport whatsoever. He had a heavy New England accent, not mentioned in the police report... Indeed, when he showed me his jail papers and the various names, my immediate conclusion was: "They should probably be looking for a French Canadian." But he was who they found...so..... I do not know what ultimately happened.
Another gentleman came into Towers 4-B with a rather distinct heel print on his forehead, so distinct some of the letters were clearly visible, and a fairly ugly but small knife puncure in his side, made stranger by the red iodine stains which surrounded the wound. He was a mental patient, we all thought, and he behaved strangely. However, he finally showed me his police report and "jail papers". Without quoting him--he was confused, and I was sure not very stable, and also probably suffering from a bad concussion--the reports of six witnesses said that this gentleman, about 5'10" and perhaps 140 pounds, had, out of a clear blue sky, attacked all of them. Their AVERAGE weight was about 185-190 pounds, average height roughly 5'11", and two of them had knives when the police arrived, one of which a "witness" claimed he had used to "defend himself". The "defendant" had been taking drugs, all right--several anti-psychotic and anti-depresseant prescriptions, all legal and all described as bearing "recent labels from the Veteran's Administration". Here's how this boils down: if half a dozen people are willing to lie about an incident wherein they attack and rob someone, in public, the VICTIM IS FAR MORE LIKELY TO DO JAIL TIME THAN THE REAL PERPETRATORS. The real case against this man came down to: (1. He had a history of pettty arrests, and had been homeless off and on for years; (2. The street gang toughs WHO ATTACKED HIM had only a few scattered, small change arrests between them, but lived in the neighborhood; (3. Police had intentionally avoided interviewing ANY of the objective witnesses, and in fact threatened several to leave the area; (4. He was "using drugs"--the six criminals who attacked him were not even tested and if they were questioned about drugs, it did not appear in any of the paperwork; (5. The fact that the "defendant" could not locate his wallet and i.d.--one of the "victims" had it--was construed by police as "resisting arrest", which became yet another of the many layered charges against him. Again, what happened, I do not know.
The myth that everyone in jail is guilty is HOGWASH. The myth that everyone in whom agencies like Mesa P.D. even show interest is involved with crime is even worse: it is a criminal calumny. Why these venues so exaggerate small charges is obvious. The real driving agenda of an oversized police department and bloated administration is obvious: No matter what they are actually doing, they must appear to be, at the very least, "keeping the lid on" crime. Thus, in an ugly argument in which no physical violence takes place, where perhaps a charge of disorderly conduct might be appropriate and simple, corrupt agencies will tap dance with witnesses and "victims" to build a preponderance of evidence of a greatly inflated charge, let us say aggravated assault or child abuse or domestic violence, or most likely, all of the above, and "sandwich" that with a closed-circuit charge such as "resisting arrest", where only an officer's testimony is usually necessary, and then lean very hard for a heavy plea agreement. Thus, something as ordinary as an out-of-hand family conversation which took a bad turn can wind up threatening a wage-earner, a veteran, YOU, WITH MANY YEARS OF HARD INCARCERATION. This costs the city money, the "victims" at both ends, ties up the courts, and leaves far more serious matters totally unattended. But it makes a police department look as if they are dealing with dangerous problems, when in fact they have often taken words uttered in air and made them far worse than the reality ever was. This is not to forgive or forget the abuser... NO WAY! But inappropriate charges and exaggeration to the point of fiction and worse are so common here that they are the daily fodder of the system.
There is a myth that "political correctness" and "pork barrel politics" are a venue strictly for the American left wing, the "liberals" whose title has become a kind of curse word in Arizona. Forget it. This is a very conservative, right-wing venue. Political correctness here feeds into the "law enforcement" mechanism, and inflates the wallets and the egos of officials who, frankly, belong in the selfsame institutions they have been feeding for years. And it will not change when Jan Strauss leaves her post in November. It is the principles, the agenda, and the bloated payrolls which have to go.
Do not kid yourself. The police coverup of the "Reed Park Molester", their own sexual and financial miscues, vast and open drug activity all along the Main Street and Broadway Corridors, land grabs and power enforcement of eminent domain, residential codes VERY SELECTIVELY enforced, an aggressively fraudulent "DUI TASK FORCE" which operates only in communities owned and/or controlled by the "Mormon Mafia", and which HOURLY does more fraud than ENRON did in ten years--these are not coincidences or accidents, any more than the vicious and blind pursuit of "suspects" known to be innocent of the precise charges right from the get-go: It is the very agenda.

I have been involved in a futile search for an
attorney with the guts and power to rearrange some of the
pieces of this idiotic puzzle, which ruined a career and
will ultimately compel me to leave this filthy, stinking, rotten town. I want to sue all the key parties, and it would be
prudent to use the extant evidence to lodge perjury indictments. This, of course, will never come out of the Maricopa County Attorney's office, and approaching anyone with the City of Mesa would be suicide--literally!!! My friends have come to believe that I will never live to leave this town.
I do, however, have publishers... I will release all my documents--ALL OF THEM!--and all the photos, to a sufficiently
aggressive attorney, willing to take this case on contingency.
This happens every single day. Lines is a pure nepotist, whose family has been involved with Mesa P.D. for generations. And there are hundreds of other officers just as dirty. We will never want for co-plaintiffs.
And to Mayor Keno Hawker let me add this sage advice: Your police department is a criminal conspiracy. I told you that within months of your election. I would no sooner discuss a matter of procedure or the law with them than I would discuss with one mad dog the excessive biting of the last. You probably have many good officers, though why they stay with this corrupt congregation of lunatics, I have no idea. Worse, some of them are murderers. If this sore isn't tended to, it will destroy this town. It already is! You have been told these same things by others. Now, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!! Get rid of the City Manager and investigate his office, deeply... And start building pressure NOW to get rid of that office ENTIRELY.
Otherwise, Mesa CANNOT prosper.
