I am a victim of the Mediworks, Inc (medical billing from home-software) scam. I sincerely wanted to do a good job for local doctors if they needed me. I ordered the software, tried to run the CD on my computer but found that my computer lacked something to run the CD properly. I found out that my computer had some hardware difficulties.....paid $200.00 to get that fixed and still the software would not run. Within 10 days I had $360.00 debited from my Visa & Mastercard (could not afford the software on just one card-had to spread it out on
two) by the 90 trial period I had informed the authorization center that I needed to return the software package since my computer would not run the material. I got an authorization number, I faxed the regisitration information to them and prepared to return the package.

I boxed everything, manuals, CD etc. paid postage and insured the item to get to Monrovia, California with an return receipt request. Meanwhile I wrote a second letter to an Sherman Oaks address to state my case and await the credit to be posted to my credit cards. (DUMB ME)

Months went by and I had the computer fixed! got on the net to search for a website for Mediworks and saw information on the owner, operator etc and a Better Business Bureau WARNING! I filed a complaint with the BBB in California and received a POSTCARD acknowledging my position. I was told to contact the BBB if anyone from the company contacted me. NO ONE, NOT EVEN THE BBB has offered a followup!

Via the Internet,I now see the FTC involved in court preceedings against them....while other classified ads still appear in my local paper with the same COMEON. This time Medicor>same MO. Trying to get some information from the telemarketer to pass on to the????FTC, Attorney General ??? or somebody I pretended to be interested in "their" offer. Having made no commitment to Medicor
Wish I could get this information to some agent that will follow through and get that ad removed from the papers so other people will not be harmed. ANY IDEAS WHERE I CAN GO FROM HERE TO GET SATISFACTION? WILL I EVER GET MY MONEY BACK?....THEY HAVE THEIR SO CALL PRODUCT BACK!
