MCI Worldcom Wireless scumbags are ripping us off

In March of 2000 I was stupid eneough to sign up with Worldcom Wireless. I got 2 phones at what I thought was a pretty good price with a year contract.

It did not take long ti figure out that the basic service sucked and the customer support was worthless unless you wanted to spen hours on hold and then getting no where when you finally did get through. I could not wait for my 1 year contract to be up. In March 2001 I contacted MCI Worldcom and informed them that I wanted to cancel my service on both phones. No problem right? Wrong, BIG PROBLEM!

They continued to bill me for services I was not using. I contacted them several times to straiten out the problem,each time they said "no problem Mr. Mckee we will note your account closed and you should not receive any mor bills for service. The bills kept coming.

I started getting repeated collection calls (because I did not pay the bills, obviously) at home. Sometimes they would call and I would again explain my situation and the caller would apologize for the error and hang up.

Within 30 seconds I would get another call from a another MCI representative and have to explain AGAIN what I just explained not 1 minute earlier.

The bills kept coming. Finally I e-mailed them and much to my suprise they responded and after a couple of days they had solved the problem. SO I THOUGHT! Guess what?

The bills keep coming and now they are telling me they are going to disconnect my services. I call them again(amazingly it only took about 10 minutes on hold this particular time)Again, "no problem Mr. Mckee we'll take care of it" BULLSHIT! THE BILLS KEEP COMING!

I am now seeking the help of any Attourney or groups of Attourneys that would like to start a class action lawsuit against MCI Wireless for it is obvious to me after talking to other MCI Wireless customers and your site that I am not the only one. It's high time these scumbags pay the price for ripping us off!
