MCI Switches Payment Method without permission and Double Bills for Novermber 1999

In November 1999 MCI began billing me Directly (I never requested this) At the same time I had just paid an exremly large bill ($1000) which I checked as accurate paid through my local carrier.

The next month I got a bill from MCI saying I still owed them a ton of money from past due. I have tried to call them numerous times and Have gotten bounced back and forth as many as 7 times from one group to another never getting any resolution. One group says I'm up to date the other says I owe and never the twain shall meet. This happened with my wireless bill exactly the same. A bill that was paid comes back as not paid and one group says I'm up to date and the other says I'm not.

I have been on hold for as long as an hour. I think I will cut off my service and never deal with them again.
