Complaint Review: Mayank Sohar of Brand Scale-Up

We worked together for a couple of months, communicating mostly via Email and WhatsApp. 

Mayank manages a marketing/advertising company that helps ecom businesses strengthen their brands. He found me on OnlineJobs.Ph and hired me as a part-time copywriter… 20 hours per week for $125. I’d write Facebook ad copy for the brands he works with: Medimix and Actifiber. 

The agreement was, I'd send an invoice every Monday for the services rendered the week before. He would pay via Payoneer. At first, the delay in his payments to me was just for a day or two. I let it slide because he was at least replying the following day to inform me that I’d get paid on that day. 

However, it's been almost a week now since I couldn't get a decent reply from him on WhatsApp. My emails from him went unanswered. He kept telling me I’d get paid on this day, only to tell me that it would be another day. But now he’s just ignoring me, and he doesn’t even ‘read’’ the messages I sent on WhatsApp.

It’s been causing a lot of stress, especially that I have a family to look after. Work only with Mayank if you want to waste your energy and time, and risk NOT getting paid for the services you provide.
