Maxinfinityfund – represented by Jerry Sarabella and Chester Scotland – in a very abusive way tried to get me to buy $11,500.00 worth of shares in "Chime” and under the auspices of the Max 7 A Series of the Max Infinity Fund. It started with a telephone call by Jerry Sarabella who basically demanded that I agree to buy share. I was not able to say a word and just before he hung up, he said he was sending me documents by FedEx. This occurred on October 27, 2022. I returned the FedEx with a note that I was not interested. The following Monday I received a call from somebody – also fast talking – at the company, yelling at me and threatening me. He claimed I had been taped agreeing to buy the shares. New York makes it a crime to record to record or eavesdrop on an in-person or telephone conversation unless one party to the conversation consents. (N.Y. Penal Law §§ 250.00, 250.05.). I never gave such consent. It is the same in New Jersey. The Chime IPO has been delayed multiple times. Further research showed that the "Max Infinty Fund” has a questionable track record, in 2022 the former founder of the company was charged with fraud (see also https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2022-29) At least one broker was cited for violating FINRA rules. This firm uses very aggressive tactics to coerce people to invest.
