Complaint Review: marlo furniture store

marlo furniture store At the time of purchase, the sales person doesnt tell you everything there is to know about the time frame of receiving your merchandise. They tell you after the fact that it will take a couple of months to receive your items if it has to be ordered. I will never purchase anything from Marlo that isnt already in the store because if they have to order a piece it could take months to receive all of your items!!!!!! This is so unacceptable, I've never had to wait this long for furniture and once it does arrive, I hope all of the pieces match and are not damaged........ forestville Maryland

On February 17, 2014, I went to Marlo furniture store and purchased a living room set which included, a sofa, love seat and chair and a half.  I was told that all of the pieces were in except the chair and a half which had to be ordered, i was told that it would take about three wekks for the chair to come in.  Afterwards I received a call telling me that the chair wasn't due to come in until March 27th if that, and then it would take another couple of weeks to get a delivery.  By this time, we're talking 2 months.  I spoke with a manager who then told me it should'nt take that long and that it would be in before March 27th, then I received another call from the store telling me it would be March 27th or later.  I am outraged about this process because I had no idea it would take this long to receive furture and if i had known they had to order a piece, I would have opted out.  I then called customer service to complain, big mistake, they have no sympathy for customers, they just want your money because I didnt get anywhere.  Never again, if I select furniture in the future and it has to be ordered, Im running.............
