This complaint is regarding a business that I believe is illegitimate
and has scammed me. I had to change the lock at the new address I am
about to move to and found this business by googling "locksmith". I
called the number and a lady presented herself as a representative and
told me they offer lock changing services. When I asked about the
pricing she wouldn't tell me and instead asked me to wait for the
technician to arrive at the location.

When the technician ( Schneur )
came he told me they got 2 kinds of locks standard for $220 and an
extra security lock for $350. I told him that the pricing was
ridiculously high and that the average price is $100. Due to safety
reasons, I had to change the lock, and after a long negotiation, he
said $150 was the lowest he had to charge. Later I felt scammed by
them and went to find their office. When I arrived at the location I
realized, the so-called "office" was some private house which had
nothing to do with the business.

When I called them they said that
they DID NOT have an office and that the address was for registration
purposes. When you google the office it shows the pictures of the
place indeed, but it's all false and misleading. The business refused
to let me speak to the manager and refuse to give me the address of
their offices. The receipt I got from the technician had no
information on it but the price they ripped me off for.

I was able to
reach out to the technician but he said he was only an hourly
employee who takes orders from his boss. I never heard back from their
"boss". I think this business is a sham presenting itself as a
locksmith operating over the phone only with no proper office and I
was a victim of their scam.
