The sales people for this company gave me false information at the time of the sale. the failed to disclose to me the account would be reported immediatly to the credit bureaus as a credit account which affected my credit score negativly. then when I went to cancel the account they wanted half to close the account, sales people said that I could cancel at any time. All they are is religious CD's & DVD's. They have caused me & several other unsespecting family's untold greif, with the way they practis business.

It is unfair to say that a sales representative failed to disclose that "the account would be reported to credit bureaus".

Customers complete a "purchase agreement" which includes their name, address, date of birth, social security number, employer, income, nearest relative, etc. This data is standard information that is gathered for the purpose of extending an open line of credit.

Customers are then given a copy of the agrement and they have the opportunity to read and cancel the application if they so desire.

A sales representative does not have the ability to know, or to determine how an application for credit will negatively, or positively affect a customers credit score. In some cases the open account may even help a credit score by establishing or improving credit with regular monthly payments.
