Complaint Review: 94.7 The Link

94.7 The Link DJ Ro No Level Marketing Took money for a promotions package they offered but never provided the services. The owner has now blocked me on Instagram and keeps promising me a refund but i have yet to see it. Newport News Virginia

I signed up for the promotion special with 94.7 The Link. I paid the $45 in November. I sent my song over at the beginning of February. After sending it over I was getting no response. I reached out to the owner, Rochelle Boyce aka DJ Ro and she set up an on air interview. The interview never happened. Because of this they offered a partial refund and we would continue service. Refund never happened.





I reached out to the owner again and after going back and forth for a bit she told me she would take care of things. From then they gave me a 3 day schedule of when my music would be played and when my interview would happen. My song didn't air at all. When it was time for my interview I reached out because no one called me. One & 1/2 hours later I was informed I would get a call. They called and did the interview but it was off air. As you can see the flyer says 2 radio interviews. This interview wasn't on the radio and wasn't even released after the fact. Because of this they offered a video interview. This never happened.

Again I asked for a full refund for failure to complete services. They claimed they did everything that was offered. I sent proof to them that I also uploaded my own music to Digital Dj pool which was supposed to be done by them but never happened. At this point I asked to speak to the legal department. I was told to contact the manager. I called 3 times and no one answered. I told the management and was assured I would be called back. That never happened.

I posted on Instagram and tagged them that no one ever called me. They responded and said they would no longer do the work and would issue a partial refund because they are still claiming that some of the work was done. I still haven't received that partial refund. I haven't received proof that anything was done. My digital radio tracker doesn't show any record of my music being played at their station. I was told by the manager 2 weeks ago that I would receive a report of the plays and of course never got it because it doesn't exist. I have all the conversations saved.

 Company has since refunded my initial payment. I am satisfied with the results. I would like to remove my report and move on.
