Liberty Online Services rip-off fraudulent billing nonexistent website unintelligible phone-person Longview Washington
In March 2003, our local Church received a QWest phone bill that was about double the usual amount. Church Secretary was very upset, as we had recently gotten our phone charges reduced.
On close inspection, a website was found printed on the page. None of us have been able to enter the website referred to, nor have we received anything in the mail telling us anything about the "website" we supposedly ordered. One person, trying to find out about the charges, discovered your website (Rip Off Report) and told us to check it out. That company's name, and a report by somebody who had been scammed just as we were, was at the top of your webpage.
His birthdate was also referred to, just as mine was; He stated they'd not given information about what he was billed for -- just as we were mistreated.
We won't pay any more for that scam, we hope; but now the website we want for our Church must be delayed a couple of months or so, until we can afford to begin with a reputable company.
"Liberty Online" was a real bad surprise -- and a bad experience.
