Lg offered a rebate when we purchased a bundle of appliances which we did within the rebate time period. It was for 5 % of total purchase price. I filed in time online. They approved it. Due to Covid there was a 6 month delay in our home being built and even though we purchased within the timeframe, we could not accept delivery until months after the rebate closed. They said to file an exception, which I did. After going back and forth from March to June of this year, they approved the rebate exception on June 16th. I kept emailing (every few weeks, I have over 12 pages of emails) and they repeatedly reassured me I was approved and would get it. After not receiving it for 4 months, the appliance store contacted the Presidential Liasion, Jillesa, and she said I was not going to get it as it expired. I wouldn’t complain if it wasn’t for the fact that LG stated my exception was approved and I would get the rebate! I was told I would receive it, repeatedly. I am retired and on a limited income and that little bit was being counted on to help with bills! Companies need to stand behind their word and LG definitely is not!
