As a former employee at Les Scwab, I can say that not only are money paying citizens getting ripped off,but the employees too. This is not a result of Les Schwab, but the store managers.Les Schwab is a good company and they sell good products. The quality of service depends on who is managing the store and how much the manager really cares.

Anybody who knows how they work, know that their main concern is sales,The goal is not to sell you what you want or what you can afford, the goal is "SALES NUMBERS".

Many times they sell wrong,or inappropriate size tires for your vehicle, then attempt to sell you equipment to make the tires fit properly.Employees are threatened with loosing their jobs if this is not done. Also, it depends on the employees themselves.

I used to work in the alignment shop and have witnessed a technition "ZERO" the alignment print out so the print out reads correctly for vehicle alignment, without even picking up tools, and charging the customer for work that was never done. The store managers/stores,compete for monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales, this determines the "BONUS" to be received.

A well run store, with a manager, who cares, will go out of his/her way to keep return customers.Get to know the people in the store, and talk to other customers about the service they received before spending your hard earned money for a hand shake and a pat on the back.A good manager will put your safety before a good "SALE".
