La Caprice formerly Oro Gold lured my 87 year old mother into their East Hampton shop and proceeded to scam her out of $14,000 for wrinkle cream and a Perfectio X light machine that if used will interfere with her defibrillator/pacemaker. They guarantee their products for 15 years at which point she will be 102 years old.

My mother was embarrassed and felt shame for falling for their high pressure, predatory sales tactics. At 87 she is easily confused with signs of cognitive decline. I explained this to customer service and they will not take back the unopened product or refund her money. What they did to my mother was cruel and heartless and constitutes elder abuse.

They are professional scammers who violate local, state and federal laws and offer no refunds. Their deception is universal as evidenced through hundreds of published reviews by outraged customers. When reviews are no longer positive, they change the name of the store. The Oro Gold store at 11 Newtown Lane in East Hampton NY may have changed their name to Le Caprice, but the owners are the same. Shame on them for what they did to my mother.

mail copies of your Ripoff Report to all of your Local TV News Stations and put it to the attention of “Investigative Reporter”. Maybe someone will do a story, like the one in Santa Fe, NM where a man was charged $60,000 for the same type of product and service that your grandmother received. Anyone can go to Bing and type in: MAN WITH AUTISM CHARGED $60K FOR SKINCARE PRODUCTS, and read the related articles on the web.

Good luck to you!
