Just Brakes Frisco #0001 Charge for Service NOT Performed, Double Charge for Service, Charge for Service NOT Authorized Addison Texas
On Oct 29, 2014, my blind quadraplegic daughter had her attendant/nurse take her car by for a free estimate on a weak parking brake. She knew to set it up so all work could only be authorized by me, by phone. In this 1 experience, they committed 3 serious frauds.
Fraud #1 - Included $10 charge for brake fluid on a repair involving a cable based parking brake (uses no fluid)
Fraud #2 - Included $49.95 charge for adjusting brakes in addition to charge for brake service. Their own documentation shows adjustment comes with brake shoe service.
Fraud #3 - After waiting 2 hours and on being informed they had not begun the job or purchased the parts required, I rescinded approval and instructed them to return the vehicle. They refused this instruction and endangered 2 kids by holding this vehicle (a wheelchair van) past when it was needed for school pick-up and medical care drop off.
If I could hold them accountable for the reckless endangerment to these kids, I would. They'll escape that. Please join me by holding them accountable "in the street"...as in by exposing their crooked practices for all to see.
