Jeffrey Court provided defective mosaic tiles which failed in my residential application. The product had excessive backing adhesive globbed in spots on the tile sheets. The tiles which had the globs of adhesive on them popped out over time and had to be repaired twice at my expense.

This is an obvious manufacturing quality control issue that was not caught before shipping. The attached photos show the adhesive globs, the resulting failure, and the evidence of how the failure occurred in the empty tile socket.  The adhesive globs did not allow the setting mortar to adhere to the back of the tile so eventually they popped out.

The distributor and Jeffrey Court are blaming the failure on installer error but why are the tiles unaffected by the globbed adhesive still securely in place?  Only the tiles with the excessive adhesive behind them failed. I am only asking for reimbursement of the purchase price if the product and the company is ignoring and deflecting responsibility.
