NOT the first time I have had a problem with JC Penney warranties on their furniture -- it is my third time. They SAY it is up to the manufacturer. I have found their furniture to be cheap and poorly made. I have, in the past, had armoire doors snap in half and desk drawers break.

This time I purchased a couch and loveseat about six months ago, by Bauhaus. Bauhaus supposedly offered a warranty including the cushions.

Because of poor cushion design (thin foam with four inches of batting) the cushions immediately broke down so that they look like they are 15 years old.

I contacted both JCPenney and the manufacturer and both are pointing to the other as being responsible for the warranty. Thus far, I have only gotten the run around.

JCPENNEY HONORED THE WARRANTY

I returned the couches for a replacement. Bauhaus on the other hand did not.
