In response to a "Parade Magazine" ad I sent a check in the amount of $16.90 to J.D. Marvel Products for an antenna that plugs into the electrical outlet. That was 4/17/02. It was cashed 4/26/02. Today is 5/5/02 and no product has arrived. The telephone number responds with an automated menu, one of which is to visit the website www.jdmarvelproducts.com. That page does not open. However, when I searched for the company, I found that I am but one of many, many customers who have not received their orders, but whose checks have been cashed. The company does not allow the use of credit cards, which would prevent the fraud.
