I signed up for digital mail service with this company and a local store in San Francisco, CA. The service started in February, 2016, and it has been totally unsatisfactory. Below I cite specific examples.

I picked up accumulated mail in person in April, and along with my mail there were items for other customers.

In May I requested that accumulated mail be sent to me at an overseas location. Instead of receiving a small bundle of mail, I received a single piece. I complained to the service, and was told that the rest of the mail would be sent right away. Three weeks later I still did not have my mail. I contacted the service again, and was told that my mail had been lost, and that they were sorry. In the meantime, I had to cancel credit card accounts, and make other arrangements. A week later, they found my mail and forwarded it. It total, it took a month and a half to have my mail forwarded, not to mention significant inconvenience in the process.

In July I received a check from a client. I asked that it be deposited (for a fee), as this is a feature of the service offered. AT first, the software would not allow me to complete the request. I followed up with the store, who told me they were not set up for the service. After I complained, I was told that the check also had to be scanned (for yet an additional fee - this is not mentioned anywhere in the advertising fro iPostal1). Fine, I had the check scanned. It took 4 days, and then when I request to have the che check deposited, I get a message that it must be scanned first.

I have called customer service at iPostal1. It's useless. You cannot reach anyone. I have emailed iPostal1 several times with complaints, but they fail to resolve the basic problem: lousy training.

I do not recommend iPostal1. Take your business and your patience elsewhere. In addition to this report, I plan to file complaints with the BBB and consumer protection groups.
