First off. iPayment, INC are CROOKS. They will illegally hold your money and keep it from you. I am a small business owner and am going through a nightmare with them. My business is legit. I am a furniture store. We have high ticket items. We do our best when taking credit cards to verify the customer is who they say they are.
iPayment, INC froze my batches for NO REASON. Joseph Hernandez said it was a routine security risk check since my account was new. After submitting Bank statements and all signed receipts he says he is holding my funds for 90 days and shutting down my account.
Here is the thing you got to watch for. Flagship Merchant Services and National Bankcard and other processing companies use iPayment, INC to process their credit cards.
If you are a small business, you need to ask the company you choose if they use iPayment, INC.. if they do... I would RUN FAST... if they don't, you shouldn't have any problems.
I am going to Merchant Warehouse... they DO NOT outsource anywhere....
Stay away from iPayment, INC and National Bankcard and Flagship Merchant Services... HORRIBLE Companies.
