Thanks to Rip Off Report I avoided getting ripped off further from IPA - International Profit Associates. A little more than a year ago we got a phone call, then a visit, then paid about $360 for another consultant who then made us sign a contract for more consultants to come in who would want to do a full evaluation of our company and we would have to pay their travel expenses and hourly rates for who knows how long.
Luckily I put on my contract that they had to have specific knowledge of my industry and when they showed up that morning I found out this rip off report site and found them all over it....I wouldn't let them in the door....they didn't have specific experience in my industry....other than being a customer of some of my customers.
Anyway....they came back later in the day to try to "sell" me again on letting them evaluate my business but again I refused. They left me a bill for their travel expenses and time, even though they didn't do anything for over $5,000. I just ignored it and they did not pursue it.
I think with all the legal issues they are having in Chicago and the fact that I put in the contract that they had to have specific knowledge of my industry then they didn't pursue it. Good riddance.
Don't let them in your business...they are crooks!
