Bought this ring for an engagement on 2/17/202 and then COVID-19 hit Florida and wont return the ring.
I contacted Wells Fargo and also IDC during the COVID epidemic and returned to the store and the would not return the ring because they said 30 days had gone by and i explained I had an issue with my immune system have a thyroid condition which makes me susceptible to getting sick and did not want to risk dying and they told me they could not return the ring and said they had been open and i should have returned the ring sooner.I called and left them vm messages and no one returned my calls and then my mother died from covid19 and for 3 months Wells Fargo investigated and decided that i had to pay for the ring.I have been paying $200 a month so my credit doesn't get ruined and wanted to return the ring.I took to an independant jewler as I did not recieve a GIA Certificate ONLY their appraised value and I trusted their appraised value.

Diamonds are not an investment

#2Consumer Suggestion

Tue, October 13, 2020

A diamond ring is not an investment, it's a consumer product.  There is no market for used engagement rings, and you would be lucky to get 1/3 of what you paid for it.  And why would you buy a diamond without a GIA certificate?
