I am not working at the present time, and staying home with my ailing mother. I had just quit a telemarketing job, couldn't hack it.

It seemed like IWS would be perfect. I started back in May to get set up, and got state assistance to pay for the headset which I never got.

I spoke with Kevin, who gave me some runaround on it, finally found out they were getting away from the headsets, or so they said. But I needed to have a "VPR" put on my phone line in order to do this, and the cost waa $85 if paying by online check, and $125 by credit card.

I was finally sent a training date email, and was promised a link to a site where I could log on for training. This was then changed to a teleconference with Patrice Freeman, where we got some basics, but not very much at all. We were told that we would receive an email with our start date. Another week passed, nothing.

I received an email yesterday from Taylor Smalls, with a link to a WebEX webconference site. The mail said to click on the link and 'register' for the meeting, and an email would be sent with all the info. When I clicked on that link, I had to first get a webex name and password to even log in, and then needed a meeting password to get into the 'info' site. I never got a meeting password and at this writing, it is about an hour and 15 minutes till the 'meeting' is supposed to take place, and I still have no password.

They won't get off with this. I used state assistance money to fund that headset/vpr or whatever and if I don't get any response from them I'm going to the county board tomorrow.

This is outrageous! I'm now back to looking for something else.

WJAC-TV is going to talk to me

I've gotten the bank to credit back the $85 that was taken out, and was approached by Tim Longwell of WJAC-TV in Johnstown PA today. It looks like I'm going to be on TV in the near future to help expose this scam once and for all!

I encourage others to do as I've done, to file with the attorney general and talk to the news media. With all of us working together, we can bring these vultures down!

I am taking Legal Action against this company

I have spoken to the county board of assistance, who funded me to get into this program with IWS. Well, they won't touch these people, but at least I don't have to pay the money back. They put me onto Mid-Penn Legal Services, who in turn advised me to file a complaing with the Pennsylvania State Attorney General's office.

I am doing that, and encourage all victims of IWS to contact their state Attorney General and do the same. I was also told I can sue the company in district court and get 3 times the amount I paid, however collecting will be difficult. Nevertheless, I intend to do this as well.

I've also emailed the local news media. I encourage everyone scammed to do what I have done. Let's expose these scam artists and bring them to justice!
