Independent Wireless ripoff. I paid over $125 for a position with thiws company that appeared legit in April. Web Based Only. The Pittsburg Address Is Bogus Pensylvania
As with hundreds of others, I too was the victim of a scam. Back in April I researched the bogus company sites, and did not find INdependent Wireless among them at that time. I have since discovered their website and listing with Monster.com started on or around March 27, 2004. NO wonder nothing was listed.
They prey on job hungry Americans, take your money, and give very little information over a period of months. The training consists of 'chat' using WebEx, the training manual appears to have been put together (stapled) by a 3 year old, and the 'headset is incomplete and parts available at Walmart.
I should have known better.

Hi, this is texino down in the lab. This week we are in Gainesville Florida pulling stems at the lovely shands hospital complex at UF.
I happened to notice that a gent from nearby Interlachen had posted a complaint. I have been looking around for this independent wireless outfit and so far I see that they are doing blanket recruitment in areas hit hard by unemployment in the technical sector or areas that might have a student population.
I need to find a little more about how they work the scam. Anyone with info may mail me [DELETED] over at [DELETED].
I'm busy but I will help get these people if I can find a way.
Got to go.
