Complaint Review: HumanSide International

HumanSide International, Houston, Texas This employer plays games ripping off employees

Mr. Christopher Link, presient of HumanSide International, has systematically refused to pay me for administrative contract services I performed for him over a month ago. He has used every excuse in the book to avoid paying me for services that I rendered in good faith.

I am a recent graduate and NOT a business. I cannot wait months for my paycheck. Until I secure permanent employment, every paycheck counts. He has claimed to have lost my engagement letter and requested a new engagement letter over three times. He has claimed to put in in the mail, and then when I call the next week, the secretary claims to have overlooked mailing it. He claims to need to "verify my address" over and over again, before mailing it even though I have left it several times.

He claims to have "assumed" I would come personally to pick it up, even when my letter clearly stated I wanted it mailed. He has held this check above me, trying to get me to come in and pick it up personally, a trip across town that is impossible for me to make in normal business hours given my current employment situation.

I have NEVER had an employer play such games with such a sacred thing as a paycheck. I caution anyone who will be working with him or for him. Even with a clearly legally binding letter of engagement, he has not paid me for employment over a month ago.
