While I was disputing a claim with Sears over a faulty roof job, they sold my account to Household Retail Services. I then entered a dispute with HRS and was told that no payments or interest would be necessary until the dispute was resolved.

It took over six months to resolve the problem with Sears giving back a full refund to me for the roof, but sending the check to HRS. When HRs refunded my money it was short by $353 and when I called and questioned them they said it was for late fees and interest. While in dispute there was never any fees to be added.

I have tried on many occasions to get the money owed all without success. They are now showing late over 180 days on my credit report and I am fuming. This is the second encounter with HRS and both were negative.
