I purchased an electric bike from Heybike Inc. on December 27nd 2022. The purchase came with a warranty as prescribed on their website (link to their warranty page is below). One July 28th 2023 the motor malfunctioned on the electrical bike that I purchased. The following day, July 29th, I contacted the company in an effort to submit a warranty claim for the faulty motor. According to their website every bike purchase comes with a one-year warranty. After examining the date of purchase as well as the time of the fault I determined that I indeed had a justified claim for a replacement part. After contacting the company, the company responded requesting evidence of the fault. I responded to their request by providing them a video of the fault in question. They then responded to my claim with a list of instructions concerning shipping and handling for the part to be mailed to my residence which was on August 2nd 2023. After I paid for the shipping and handling for the replacement part I researched out the company after a week or so concerned that I had yet to receive some type of notification stating that the part had been shipped. They then responded stating that their orders are back logged and that they would send out the part as soon as possible. As of this date I have yet to receive anything from the company regarding my claim. www.heybike.com/collections/electric-bike? ;
