Heartland America ripoff WORST RIPOFFS EVER! Internet

UNBELIEVABLY bad experience, and worst cust.svce.reps have EVER dealt with. Ordered Compaq computer system and Koler comp.desk online 10/13/06, which sd.allow 2-4 wks. for delivery, and I'd rcv.e-mail when shipped.

After 3-1/2 wks.called to see when would be delivered so I'd be sure to be @home. Several reps.sd.4-6 wks.,be patient and wait, and h/up on me! Finally got rep K.J. who gave me name/# of comp.vendor, GCM, who I called, and was told would get next day, which I did.

HOWEVER, no usere's manual or sys.diskette included; had Windows 98 instead of advertised Windows 2000; had 20GB hard drive instead of 40GB; and Lexmark printer box had been opened b4 shipping, and BOTH ink cartridges had been removed (GCM prob.resold them to make even more money off of me!).

C/b GCM; on hold 4 hrs.! Finally I c/b and asked for mgr.; got shipping mgr. Was very rude; refused to send replacement S/W (sd.against Microsoft licensing laws; accused me of being spy for Microsoft!) or H/W and also h/up on me. So I c/b H.A.; supv. told me deal w/them and h/up on me also! C/b GCM and asked for same mgr. Told him give me RMA#, am rtng.system and don't want replacement; gave me RMA# and sd.would be p/up 1-3 business days (was 5).

So I c/b H.A.; told them comp.sys being rtnd. and gave RMA#, cancel desk, and refund credit card. But card nvr.had been charged, even when last checked 11/20. So 2day, 11/28, comp.desk shows up! I refused it, and called credit card co., who sd. ENTIRE order was charged to card 11/22.

So I AGAIN c/b H.A.; again treated vy. rudely by supv. who claimed I nvr. cancelled order. Funny thing, her comp.showed already I refused desk, less than 1-hr. earlier, but sd. GCM hasn't gotten comp.sys. back (they prob. did, nvr. told H.A., and re-sold it to some other poor sucker like me!)

Heartland America refused to credit my card until desk AND comp.sys. are rcvd. back by vendors, and AGAIN supv. h/up on me! Had to start a dispute w/credit card co.

WHAT A BUNCH OF RIPOFFS!
