Complaint Review: Heartland America

Heartland America made me pay for 2 metal detectors I never received and nothing was done - $357 lost. Chaska, Minnesota

I first ordered 1 metal detector and discovered 2 were on the order. On a saturday I called and was told I cannot do anything until Monday. I called Monday and was told they were shipped and I would have to wait until I get them, refuse to accept them and have them returned. I waited almost a month and got nothing, not even a receipt and was charged to my credit card. I contacted my credit card company and they put in a report. I was told by Heartland America that Speedy Delivery is responsible and I would have to wait 6 weeks before I may even get a refund. Speedy Delivery is supposed to come to my door in 4 days? Nothing is being done and I have to wait 6 weeks? How do I know anything will be done? Heartland America ripped me off because of Speedy Delivery, unfair. I will not buy anything big, and may never buy anything, from Heartland America again.
