I used to love Heartland America , but my latest experience with them proved to me they really aren't very concerned with the level of customer service they provide.

I purchased a cookware set from HA on the premise it compared in quality to a set costing more than $500 since that is how it's advertised.  When I received the cookware set I was very disappointed to find there isn't anyway this cookware set could be worth $100 nevermind $500!

The set was flimsy and obviously a disguised knock off of a expensive set complete with rivets where the handle attaches to the pan and an etched line around the bottom of the pan mimicking the presence of thick slab of metal when in fact the bottom of the pan isn't any thicker then the side.

When this was brought to the attention of the HA Cus. Service agent she apologized and offered to pay to ship the item back, which is the least they should have done.

The problem arises with the fact that they refused to refund the full amount and kept $16 dollars in shipping and handling charges.  Some of their products are OK but their customer service and deceptive advertising are shady at best!
