Complaint Review: Haus & Hues

Haus & Hues Haus & Hues Took My Money, Mis-Shipped Order, No Accountability, Backpedaling, Excuses, Buying Time, Wouldn't Cancel or refund Doral Florida

On 7/1/23, I ordered a Keith Haring poster from Haus & Hues' shop on Amazon. On 7/5, USPS tracking indicated "USPS Awaiting Item, Shipping Label Created, MIAMI, FL 33178, July 5, 2023, 2:43 pm." On 7/7: "Preparing for Delivery, Arrived at Post Office, OPA LOCKA, FL 33054, July 7, 2023, 3:49 am".

The package was to ship to my address in Lakewood, Ohio. After I notified Haus & Hues of the error, they created a 2nd shipping label on 7/7, then immediately cancelled it. After some e'mail messages from Ayvie at Haus & Hues, and  messaging via Amazon, I demanded that my order be cancelled and a refund issued immediately. Haus & Hues had my money and mis-shipped my order. Yet, Ayvie told me they couldn't re-ship a poster until the first order that they shipped to Opalocka was delivered (to whom?!). Then, Ayvie insisted that I wait until the warehouse opened on Monday before she would resolve my issue. The entire weekend was one of backpedaling and excuses by Ayvie as she insisted that I wait for the warehouse to open on Monday and wait for the mis-shipped order that I paid for to be accounted for. After several reports to Amazon—including a formal one that caused my complaint to be elevated—and Amazon contacting Haus & Hues at least twice, a refund has purportedly been issued. although, as of this writing, the refund has not been deposited into my bank account. Haus & Hues needs to be investigated and put out of business.

In fairness, but grudgingly, my merchadise arrived after Haus & Hues processed a refund, which has hit my bank account. As of this writing, I have gotten the poster I ordered at no cost untilthey decide to bill my card again, even though they said they wouldn't.

Side note: The poster is so measly and so flimsy, what I paid for it should be the price for the framed version. Either way, avoid Haus & Hues online, on Amazon, and in person. They're the utmost worst. I was ready to hop on a bus and head down to Florida to do what I needed to do to take care of business. You don't need anything badly enough to buy it from this horor show of an organization.
