MY SON TOM BOUGHT A 1996 HONDA CIVIC FROM HARTVILLE DODGE ON NOV. 4 1999. THE FINANCIAL GUY NAMED JOE TOLD HIM A 3 MONTH WARRANTY CAME WITH THE CAR AND HANDED HIM A PAPER TO SIGN,WHICH HE DID WHEN HE CAME HOME I WAS LOOKING OVER HIS CONTRACT AND NOTICED HE HAD A 12 MONTH WARRANTY WITH CHRYSLER FOR AN AMOUNT OF 1,100.OO. WHICH HE WAS UNAWARE OF, SO I CALLED JOE AT THE DEALERS AND ASKED HOW MY SON COULD GET OUT OF THE WARRANTY, HE SAID TO HAVE HIM COME BACK IN THE NEXT DAY AND SIGN A PAPER CANCELLING THE WARRANTY, WHICH HE DID.

WHEN HE GOT HIS PAYMENT BOOK THE AMOUNT OF THE WARRANTY WAS STILL THERE. I'VE CALLED JOE ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS TO ASK WHERE AND WHEN THEY WILL REFUND HIS MONEY AND EACH TIME I'VE BEEN FED A LINE OF BULL.

SO I CALLED CHRYSLER AND TOLD THEM MY DILEMA THEY CHECKED THERE RECORDS AND SAID MY SON DOESN'T HAVE A WARRANTY WITH THEM, THEY SAID NO MONEY HAS EVER BEEN EXCHANGED BETWEEN THEM AND THE DEALER.

IN THE PROCESS OF ALL THIS TIME HARTVILLE DODGE HAS BEEN SOLD TO A COMPANY CALLED FRED MARTIN MOTOR. I DONT KNOW WHERE TO TURN NEXT SO I'M HOPING YOU CAN HELP ME OUT. THANK YOU JUDY
