H&R Block Tax Services ripoff They sent for me an anticapation loan and did"nt deduct the amount owed to IRS and now they will not take the blame for overpayment on the RAL they are ruining my credit Clevelamd Ohio
I filed my taxes with H&R Block this year and recieved an anticaption loan which I thought was correct but what happened was I owed the IRS monies from last year and took the necessary papers into them showing how much I owed and they did my taxes and said everything was fine, days later I recieved a letter stating I owed this bank 1,032.00 plus late fees and interest and I took my taxes back to H&R Block to find out the promblem they told me it was not their fault they did everything right and their was no way they were at fault for the oversight because they had nothing to do with what the bank sent me for my return. Futher more said their was nothing they could do for me. They did my taxes I paid a pretty penny for them to put me in hock.
Now I "m in the process of having ruined my credit further and the bank wants three payments to clear the matter up because they say it's my responibility to pay it even though I did'nt do the taxes or now whether or not they deducted what was needed, I can't believe H&R Block won't take responseability for this after all they are the experts.

It is not their responsibility, it is yours, Your the taxpayer and your responsible for your own taxes. You had to of been aware you had a balance due, the IRS sends out notices, therefore you were aware of the bal due, and should of never of believed you would of recieved a refund!
