Complaint Review: Global Restoration Services

Global Restoration Services • I hired (Dan Wilnau) to mediate a mold issue in my kitchen. We agreed on a contractual price. Global Restoration came in, laid down plastic, cut a hole in my ceiling, said they had to spray something to remediate the mold, but sprayed nothing, then said they had to let it air and would be back after lunch. They asked for payment in full, which I stupidly gave to them. I tried texting, and emailing him numerous times with no response. Upon threatening to sue, he responded and blamed me for him not coming back or completing the work, he refused to come back to finish any work.

I filed lawsuit papers, police departments tried to serve him, but all of his addresses were incorrect. His State license has been revoked. Was never able to complete the lawsuit. Investigated more reviews on Global Restoration (Dan Wilnau) only to find out that on BBB, Yelp, Facebook, Google, Yahoo, and Home Advisor that there were thousands of people with the exact same complaint.

Global Restoration would come in and not finish the job, or do the job incorrectly or not complete it as agreed upon - ask for payment and never return. Mr. Wilnau is a scam artist who started his business in Gilbets, Il, then moved to Lake in the Hills and is not back in Gilberts all in order to avoid lawsuits and angry scammed customers.
