We bought a gift card as a birthday present for an elderly relative, wanting it to be easy.

It was only partially accepted at the restaurant which was suggested, causing great aggravation at what was supposed to be a celebration. Then it was rejected at another vendor despite a phone call to the number on back of the card, as directed.

 The recipient said to 'Never use Giftly again." We were hoping for a thank you instead. Unfortunately it ruined the gift.

 Support was sorry there was a problem and their solution to use the remainder by calling if there was a problem , did not work. So much for their guarantee.
