I have a 2003 cadillac escalade ext and have to put brake pads and rotors on it everytime I get my bi-annual state inspection. I've been told by auto experts that gm put the wrong size brake rotors on alot of their vehicles. this is poor engineering and the poor consumer is footing the bill for gm's selfish mistake. It saves gm money by using these undersized brakes and cost the consumer a fortune to keep replacing the short lived brakes. besides the $500 I've paid 4 times there is a safety issue also as I almost killed myself numerous times as there is no warning when your metal to metal on your brakes. I hate to admit it but that is why toyota's stock price is 130 and gm's is 17. gm won't respond to my nightmare and I've spent $63,000.00 on this vehicle in good faith.
