They have a recall on 95 Chevy trucks for the windshield wiper moters but mine is not in the serial numbers so they won't fix it.
They know that they sent out junk parts an so do I. they are too cheap to fix a 50 dollar part that they know they had trouble with or there would't of been a recall on part of them.

SUGGESTED SOLUTION
Windshield wiper motors go out all the time. The manufacturer decides on what to recall based on product defect, safety, and specific problems.

My suggestion would be to get your wiper motor repaired and save the receipt.

If they later recall this part, you can get reimbursed. Then contact the NHTSA (National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration) and file a complaint about your vehicle concerning the wiper motor. If enough people do this, the NHTSA will instigate an investigation and perhaps force the
manufacturer into recalling this part.

You might check back at the dealer, because my information shows the recall is from 1994 to 1998.

Here it is:

Component: VISUAL SYSTEMS:WINDSHIELD WIPER AND WASHER
Manufacturer: GENERAL MOTORS CORP.
Mfg. Campaign #: 98043
Year: 1996
Make: CHEVROLET TRUCK
Model: C10
Potential Number of Units Affected: 1557585
Manufactured From: AUG 1994 To: MAY 1996
Year of Recall: '98
Type of Report: Vehicle
Summary:

Vehicle Description: Light duty pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles, 2 and 4-wheel drive. Solder joints near the wiring harness connector can crack causing the windshield wipers to work intermittently.

This condition can result in inoperative wipers, reducing a driver's visibility, and increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.

Dealers will replace the wiper motor circuit board and cover. Owner notification began December 15, 1998. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Chevrolet at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC at 1-800-462-8782. Also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Auto Safety Hotline at 1-888-DASH-2-DOT
(1-888-327-4236).
