I bought an air conditioner g.e brand from Lenoir tire co. in kinston N.C in 1999-2000. I bought the extended warranty after a month or two. The thermostat went out. Kinston refrigeration was called; they replaced the part.

About 2 or 3 weeks later same problem. The appliance center in kinston came out, bent the thermostat, and said it was ok. It would be 80 degrees at night and the air conditioner would not come on. Next G.E sent a man from Ayden to fix it. He replaced the part again next day same problem. From what I was told if you had the same problem 3 times G.E would replace the appliance(boy was that a lie) when I called Lenoir tire co. martin Askew said why? Didn't you call us.

I replied G.E did not have you listed as a repair station. He could not believe it. This was while the appliance was under warranty. After the extended warranty was about to run out G.E called wanting to know would I like to renew the extended warranty (are these people crazy) OH!

By the way it will be a cold day in hell before I own another G.E product. I have bought 4 appliances since then, none of which ar G.E.

P.S have kept several people from buying G.E products after I showed them the way G.E ignored even the attorney generals office in N.C .
