I went through the process of getting an online quote for auto insurance from Geico.  I disclosed ALL of my speeding tickets/auto violation and they quote me roughly $500 for 6 months.  So, I decide to go for it, enter my credit card information and hit "process."  Once that went through, they said my premium actually went up to $740!!  And they CHARGED my card without asking me.  I called to cancel the policy and the guy said my quote went up because of the accident and tickest I had.  I told him that I had disclosed that information but he didn't seem to know anything about it.  It seems unethical and illegal to tell me one price and then charge my card for another amount completely, NEVER warning me or asking me if that was ok.  I have never had anything like this happen to me before where the company just overcharges me with no notice.  This needs to stop.
