My girlfriend had a accident 10 years ago and is now confined to a wheelchair.
She purchased a bungerlow and had some builders compleatly change the inside for her use ie ( exstention, new plastering all round painting etc ) a big job costing a lot of money.
8 months after they finnished, the plaster started coming off the walls, so they came back and put some of it right.
A few months on and cracks started to appair and off came more plaster.
She decided to take legal action as the repairs would cost around fifteen thousand pounds.
She took them to court and won the case plus some money compensation as she had been suffering depression for the time it had taken which was 4 to 5 years.
She did not get a penny as they closed the company down and started a new one with just a few letters changed in the name.
They also sold the company shares to the new company which i believe is illeagal to do but nobody seems to give a d**n.
