We got a phonecall from Fulfillment Corp just like everyone else.

We got convinced to pay the 937 USD, despite all our instincts not to.

The day after I got very suspitious, and i found this place. It made everything quite clear about wich kind of company this was.
Thanks to that we were able to do the right thing and we GOT THE MONEY BACK!

Thank you very much!

This is a copy of our mail communication with Fulfillment International:

Dear Customer,

If you have simply changed your mind and decided to reverse your decision to purchase, we have no problem in honoring that request, as you are within the cancellation period to do so. We have no way of forcing anyone to give us credit card information. You willingly participated in a telephone conversation that resulted in your agreeing to purchase a product. It is quite impossible for us to browbeat anyone into anything over the phone thousands of miles away. It occurs to us that a reasonable option for you would have been to merely hang up the phone.

Please be assured that although your credit card was authorized and approved, it will not be charged. Any temporary hold that may have been placed on your account will automatically "fall away" within the next few days.

Again, we regret that you will not be able to enjoy these products or share such a relaxing holiday with us at this time. Perhaps we can help you plan a future holiday.

Sincerely,

Accounting Department
Fulfillment International Corporation

Dear Customer,

We've just received notice that you are considering the cancellation of the
tropical travel package you recently purchased from our company. Obviously,
we don't want you to do that. So, to try and change your mind, we have a
proposition for you. Please read on ...

We have a one-time offer that will further reduce this already
highly-discounted travel package. For the next 48 hours we are offering a
reduction of $200 US from the purchase price. The exact same package you
originally purchased from us is being offered to you for a total of $698 US
plus $39 US shipping and handling. That makes the entire travel package a
total of just $737 US - for everything - the 3-piece set of genuine leather
luggage, the licensed travel cd software, all Florida accommodations, the
all-inclusive Bahamas cruise and your bonus Mexico holiday.

How can we do this? Well, we've already spent a lot of our advertising and
marketing budget just to make you the offer in the first place. This
reduced price offer makes more economic sense for us than to lose you as a
customer altogether. Besides, we know that when you take this holiday,
you're going to love it enough to go home and tell all your friends and
family what a fabulous time you had. And then guess what? They're going to
call us and also want a travel package! So you see, this is a wonderful
opportunity for you to get the benefit of even further discounts, and an
opportunity for us to keep you as a customer with the potential for some
good, old fashioned word of mouth advertising. A win-win situation ...
they're always the best kind!

So, what do you say? Want to take us up on our offer? You'll be very glad
you did. Please let us know in the next 48 hours. We're holding this offer
for you and will await your response.

Sincerely,

Accounting Department

we made you an additional offer to save your sale but you declined

Dear Alexandra Chamorro & Jan Christian Byrne, You purchased our package on 3/24/03, you were emailed an invoice of your purchase on 3/25/03 and later that same day you requested a cancel of the purchase. Yes, we made you an additional offer to save your sale but you declined. Your credit card was never charged, therefore, no merchandise was shipped to you.

We dont really understand what the problem is. And just to clarify your misinformation, the Michigan law that you are quoting below applies only to Michigan residents who purchased from a Michigan company.
