I signed up for a bundle package for internet and phone after seeing an ad for internet, phone and tv. They could not deliver the tv service but had a $44.99 plan for internet and phone, which was on their internet  site. So I agreed to take that service. Now it wa suspposed to include nationwide calling but the guy on the other end said it was for long distance calling in Florida.

Took it anyway beacuse I needed the nternet up and running. I was promise 7mbp but have never gotten over 2mbp. Before I even got internet service which was  2 weeks after the promised date I received my first bill. I was now being charged $49.99 plus an equipment charge of $10.00 a month which I did not need but was supposed to be included in the $44.99. I still have not gotten the correct amount but was offered  a lump sum that covered the extra $5.00 for  12 months, but the price was for two years and no charge for equipment.. I just wanted what came with the $44.99 bundle.

Next bill I received had a $1.20 charge for long distance placed in the state of Florida.  Thinking it was a mistake I chatted with Fronier service online. After checking into it the customer service rep said even though it was in the state of Florida I would have to pay the charge because it was a special number in their manuel. I asked to see proof of this because that should have been revealed to me at sign up. She could not provide the manual the info came from but said it was somewhere on the internet.

The area code wa 754, which includes Fort Lauderdale and Miami. So now if I want to make a call in the state of Florida I have to call Frontier to see if itis in an approved area code. I have in state service it is ridiculous. I have checked out a few complaint sites like Consumer Affairs and it amazing how many people have been duped the same way. One person found out he couldn't call Orlando andhad the same bait and switch done. People are wanting a class action suit because Frontier is acting like they are untouchable. Someone needs to show the attorney general all the complaints.  Sheri Minnick
