Mr. Franckao Pirchiner sold me and installed all the granite countertops in my home; the kitchen island, the countertops for the kitchen cabinets and for the three bathroom sinks, as well as three window sills. After the initial install, he had to come back because his worker had installed a very badly cracked window sill in the kitchen window.
At the time, the whole house was being remodeled and it was only after the dust had settled that I realized that one of the bathroom window sills was not installed straight, that the holes for the two master bath sinks were not cut evenly in relation to the holes for the faucets, so that I have one faucet and sink closer to the back wall than the other, and both faucets are too close to the back wall to allow easy cleaning.
The kitchen island is replete with defects. When you look closely at the black design areas of the stone, you can see cracks and small holes. There was also a chip on one edge of the kitchen island that could not have been made by any person living in the house. We can only deduct it happened as an after effect of the cutting of the slab. The sink which apparently was included in the cost, per Mr. Pirchiner, is not made of 100% stainless steel. I have had to contend with constant water spots, and worse, small spots of rust that pop up close to the top edges of the sink.
Mr. Pirchiner refuses to address ANY of those concerns, and claims that I picked the two slabs that have the defects and that he is not responsible. Bear in mind that when one picks the slabs, it is impossible to see the whole piece as it is a very large piece, making it impossible to get a close look higher up. From my viewpoint, the slabs looked good and I chose two out of the six similar slabs that were presented to me.
Mr. Pirchiner is a dishonest person who doesn't answer my calls and texts, and won't even consider fixing the chip on the corner of my kitchen island, or replace my sink with a sink that is indeed stainless steel. I am stuck with granite counters that are not commensurate with the amount of money I paid him. He should not be allowed to rip people off any more.
