Complaint Review: Francesco Pecoraro - Adesso Process Service and The Pecoraro Companies

In November 2017, I found Francesco Pecoraro in a search under "affordable process service providers." Francesco's name and number popped up. I called. He returned my call and told me that he could do the "basic" process services for me that would most likely qualify as my ex being served in Brazil for my divorce case. I gave him $249 for this service along with all of my case information. He says he mailed the package to my ex at his Brazil address and all he had left to do was mail in the "proof of service" documentation to the courts and send me a copy. Well, when I didn't receive it I called, emailed, checked in with the courts and waited.

Come Februrary 2018, I had enough! Francesco hadn't turned in my proof of service docs to the courts - nor had I received my copy. So, I told my boyfriend to call as if he was a new client needing service. Guess what... he returned HIS call! It's funny how he returns calls for new potential money (i.e. clients) but doesn't return calls to his existing clients wondering where their services are! 

So... when Francesco was on the phone with my boyfriend, he handed me the phone and I surprised Francesco by letting him know that it was ME wondering where my proof of srevice letter was. He tried to act "annoyed" by saying he was out of the country and he'll address this when he gets back in town and basically hung up on me. 

The next day, I received an email from Francesco stating that he will refund my money when he gets back in the office March 1, 2018. He had the nerve to ask for my address to mail me a check - which he should've had in his records IF he even looked at them at all. I told him to simply send it through PayPal which is how I sent the money. No PayPal reimbursement and no check as of March 8, 2018. 

Francesco Pecoraro is a fraud and I am turning him in. I suggest you do not do business with him unless you want to waste your time and lose quite a bit of money.
